I found this Bee Gees 'Ellan Vannin' with pictorial scenes of the island.
Note the green telephone box at Cregneash. This was painted green for the benefit of 'Irish' scenes and notably for Waking Ned Devine. In Castletown we have a black phone box for old English scenes
The Manx National Emblem on the Laxey Water Wheel face the wrong way as do those of many churches in the island. Correct is knealing clockwise. I heard that knealing anti-clockwise (like the Swastika) signifies preparedness to do battle but this has yet to be substantiated
Maurice Gibb is the one with the hat (keyboard) and not the very much still alive sickly looking twin brother Robin (22 Dec 49). Elder brother to the twins is Barry (1 Sep 46) who always looked better fed.

The name Bee Gees doesn't come (as popularly believed) from Brothers Gibb but from the Bill and Goode the Australian radio DJ Bill Gates and the racetrack promoter Bill Goode (who saw them perform at Brisbane's Speedway Circuit)
