This is a picture of my baby Blaze that passed away just a few months ago. She was 17 yrs and 3months old when she passed away.
These are pictures of, first Mariah(the black one that chases parked cars, LOL), and Cheyenne, our newest members of the family. Mariah is a Boston Terrier/Chinese Pug mix about 5 months old. Cheyenne is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Three helpings of Chihuahua. She is almost two and at this time is pregnant from another fantastic looking Chihuahua male. It will be her only litter though. The other picture is Ashley astride Patches, me giving her pointers on how to ride properly.
Delbert - please accept my apologies. I transferred the first photo fine and then all the rest looked great and then suddenly they were gone and I had deleted them friom the New Members topic. Even the above post has 2 bars below it and when I tried to change it there were 3 so I deleted that and left it the way it is. Is there a way you can repost the other photos? I know you have written about the photo you didn't have but that disappeared as well. Trying to help Ashley, but is new to me as well, especially when dealing with photos.
I still havnt got around to taking photos of the Spotted Appaloosa, but this is a picture of me and Patches, the Appaloosa/Quarter horse cross.
This one is a picture of a beautiful German Shepard that my nephew rescued from the interstate. He appeared to have just been dropped off. He was wandering around by the service station where my niece woks at and she called Chris, my nephew to come save the dog before it got hit by a car or truck. He jumped right into the car with Chris and we have had him ever since. We put an add out for lost dog, three months ago but never got a reply, so I guess he was just dumped out.
Thanks Delbert for sharing and not being upset I accidently deleted your other photos. You do a fantastic job with these animals - and Ashley is picking it all up.
Dotti and Missy have dropped in to visit, and wish everyone a happy weekend.
I loved looking at everyone's photos and reading the stories that go with them.
Thanks for sharing yours Jenny - I mistakenly erased some of Delbert's photos of the horses trying to move them, but they were prescious as well.
I wish I could have attended this concert with my dogs! No, I don't have a pic of my pets. You'll have to draw on your imaginations about this event.
Australia: "Pet Sounds": First Musical Concert for Dogs
C2NN item here
Laurie Anderson and Lou Reed invited owners and their dogs to a free concert last weekend - on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. After the show each canine received a tasty bone-biscuit to take home as memorabilia of his or her night out on the town.
This will be the first public performance of Anderson's 'brief' piece since the thinking is that dogs don't have lengthy concentration spans - 20 minutes about does it.
The Opera House has billed this event 'an absolute must for any dog and their two-legged friends' and an 'interspecies social gathering on a scale never seen before in Australia.'
Sounded great - here's the last photo taken yesterday of Baby and Bootsie...
Taken today - Baby's favorite place - under the table.
5th time it worked - Found Bootsie in the sink today - cool I suppose - have a photo of her several years ago when she was in the sink - but it disappeared today - it's caught in the cyberspace of my computer.
The photos are lovely. Unfortunately I am not computer literate enough to use this editor to upload any. I am used to browsing and clicking upload. Anyway I can still enjoy yours. Joseph
I hope this works, or its back to the drawing board... This is Beauty. I took her out of the dog pound in a very bad condition, she had been through a lot.
Thanks Joseph and Rhonda - love to see more of your posts and to see you guys play the hangman games.
Green stars to you both (Joseph) can't send you one again this week
This is Cindy we got her from our local shelter, she and her four siblings were found in a cardboard box at the side of the road. Cindy was the last one to get rehomed she's 7mths now. I love all the photos they're so beautiful.
This is Oscar another cardboard case but this time someone brought him to my work to see if anyone wanted him he was only 6 weeks at the time .I've had him 8 years now and he has such an amazing personality ,so gentle.
This is Leo, i rescued him from an hell hole of a place, one small can of food was thrown in a yard for 8 dogs each dog was a fight for survival and all skin and bone.I got Leo when he was 1 year old he's now 15, an old man that can still run like like a whippet. Even now when we feed him i could cry, he still looks at us as if to say is that all mine and wont touch it till we tell him it's ok it's his. It's amazing how such cruelty can still have a lasting effect on such a gentle creature. This person was taken to court and fined.
They are lovely Linda. Leo looks like my Beauty, but a different colour. She had a life of hell before I found her.
Joseph, bless u for saving Beauty!
I love all the gorgeous animal pictures!
This is Hazel taking it easy on the back porch. She is soooo spoiled! LOL!
Thanks for the photos - Cindy looks like a cat I had called Callie, from the shelter, had another one, Angel, who was deaf and needed a home after wandering off and someone found but couldn't keep, and Kittywampus, my daughter's cat who she had to feed the cat scraps only due to where she was (another story) and ended up needing enzymes so her little body could learn to digest cat food and then went into shock and almost died. All other stories and unsue if I could find photos of them at this time. Actually think only have real photos somewhere but maybe will post each of their stories.
I just thank everyone for rescuing pets.
Rhonda my heart stopped when i saw Hazel she is the image of my Sasha who passed away at New Year she's gorgeous. Joseph Brusty is beautiful i love that little cheeky face.
Thanks Linda. He was a wee angel ( in an impish kinda way). Rhonda, Hazel is lovely, and deserves to be spoiled.

Animals say so much with their eyes... Seeing "cute" photos is nice for a change! My Bootsie cat is being a b***h to my Baby dog lately. Luckily Bootsie doesn't have claws or I think she's be eaten. Baby tries and ignore her. Not always easy.
Couldn't resist forwarding this on...
Huh , dogs, ice cream van ? - see pictures !

Thanx all for sharing. How cute all of them are and we are blessed to have them in our lives.
Hi Ellen - see you were invited in June. So glad to see your pawprints here. Hope you continue to visit us and share. Do you have any photos?
This is Rosey. Her story is on the news topic here. She is an abandoned rescue with a interesting story twist.
This is Teddy. He is Cheyenne's first born
This is Chiquito, so named by the owner that will be taking him when he is weaned. He is the second of the litter.
This is Faith, Ashley's puppy and the last and smallest of the litter. Cheyenne had some pretty little pups. Everybody that sees them wants to know if we are going to let her have another litter as these are all spoke for already. We are debating it, but if so there will only be one more and then we will spay Cheyenne. We are discussing breeding Cheyenne to her son Teddy. Cheyenne is a product of her mom and one of her moms sons, so we are discussing that possibility. But as I said it will be her second and final litter.
Thank for the photos Delbert - nice to have you back. Play the hangman game when you get a chance. If you look at the posts, there are always people here: George, Linda, Ivy, AnaLiza and more - they have disappeared???? And most don't even live in the US - is this a holiday for the world???
The little ones are entirely adorable!
