Dreamsinger, this is a very important article for every person considering owning a Iguana. I have always thought Melissa did a wonderful job with this article. Iguanas a a very big responsibilty and I wish people would have the compassion to research the animals they wish to own before they go out and get them. So many people look at a baby Iggy and hink its like a parakeet or a fish in terms of maitenece which frankly is INSANE. Iguanas have the capacity to get to be 7 feet long providing they get proper diet,lighting,a large enough enclusure,excerzise,baths,a clean environment,and alot of attention and love. I wish they would re-name the Iguana GIANT GREEN IGUANA. Im going to post a picture logo for National GIANT Green Iguana awareness day.
