I know this is a group about tattoos...but for many people tattoos and piercings go hand in hand.  How many of you guys have piercings, or if you want one, what do you want??

I have had quite a few piercings in the past... that's what I did before I was old enough to get tattoos. lol.   I've had my nostril done a few times, tongue a couple times, septum, labret, etc.  But now all I have is my nostril done and my ears stretched to a 6.

I have my ears pierced 8 times. Two are gauged out to '0'. I also have my lip pierced twice (once in the middle, once on the side). When I lose about 10 more pounds I will get my bellybutton and nipples done and hopefully my clithood. I had my bellybutton done a while ago but took it out. I would also like to get my septum done, but am afraid of the pain...

The septum wasn't bad for me AT ALL.  My tongue was the worst for me because I think I had some veins right where they pierced it.  The first time I got it done I started to black out and got really hot.  I eventually took it out.  Then a few years later I decided to get it done again and I had a sharp pain shoot through the left side of my body and then it went numb.  I ended up taking that one out and I will never get my tongue done again. 

But back to my septum.... I got that pierced a few months after the first time I got my tongue and I was sooo scared after my experience with my tongue.  My friend who took me to get it done told me that I would pass out and it would hurt sooo bad...So he had me all worked up for a terrible experience.  When the guy pierced my septum I didn't even notice....I felt a little pressure, but didn't even really notice he had pierced it!  I sat up and my eyes didn't even really water....so it wasn't bad AT ALL!

Ok I am a big baby when it comes to piercings!!!! I have my ears done twice and that is it! I used to have my belly button done but then I got pregnant and I had to take it out but I never had ir done over. I also had the top of my ear done but that one got infected and I had to take it out. I am hoping to get it done again but not until baby number three comes out!!!

I would rather have tattoos then piercings, and I am not sure why!!!

I'm the same way Barb, I would take a tattoo over a piercing any day! 

I have had the tops of my ears pierced a few times and each time they get infected no matter how well I take care of them!  It pisses me off because I love the way it looks!  Oh well!

I wanted to get a few different piercings in my life, but never got around to doing them.  I have only my ears pierced, but have been thinking about getting them done again. 

I'm bigger on getting tattoos, but they can be so damn expensive that it will take a long time for me to get more.

I have my ears stretched to a 6g and I'm wanting to go back down to a regular earring size.  Does anyone know if it easily shrinks down to normal and an approx. time it takes to go back to normal?  Thanks!

Hey guys. Today I got my ears gauged (sp?). I'm not sure what exact size they are. My sister and I went back to her apratment and she put them in. She said they might be like a 12 and the one a 10. But that may not be right.

I had my ears pierced (lobes only). But everytime I have ever taken them out they immediatly close up (no matter how long I keep them in). I have had them proffesionally pierced about 4 times and pierced them myself a few times too. I guess I am just a fast healer.

I have also had my belly button pierced but it kept getting infected and then I found out that I was allergic to nickle and can only where gold and titanium. 

I tried to do my own tounge once but only got half way through and aborted the mission. I didn't know that what I was doing was so dangerous either (what with the main arteries and all).

So there you have it, the history of my piercings.

A friend of mine is a piercer and she advised me that woman can still breast feed but some woman have had problems.

1. The milk will leak from the piercing holes.

2. I HEARD (dont know if true or not so take as is) The taste changes when the residue from the metal mixes with the milk.

(As some one who drink collidal silver which is made from sterling silver which is placed in distilled water. Metal does leave a little  taste)

As always please consult your doctor on this issue as it is a serious issue.

 You may not be doing anything wrong, Some people's bodies just reject the piercing. I have had that happen to me twice, with the same spot being pierced. I had to let my left nipple close twice, it just would not heal either time. However , I have never had any problem's with any of my other piercings.Also you might want to make sure your Jewelry is pure surgical steel, If it is silver , it may have nickle in it , which a lot of people (including myself) are allergic to.

Right lobe x4 (I only wear the 3/4s, 8g, 14g, and 16g)
Left lobe x4 (Only wear the 3/4s, 8, and 16.)

Nostrils x2 (20g, but they were once almost 16s, ouch)
Inner labia x2 (Not currently worn, but have been 0s)
