Do you honestly believe that this man spared the lion's life to illustrate an Islamic message of peace and "forgiveness?" We cannot allow another so-called caged lion "mercy" fight to take place. When he starts reading that people are calling his "fight" things like "boring" and "lame" he'll take it farther....guaranteed. We can't allow Egypt to let this go any farther.

Al-Essawy glared & bared his teeth but the lion looked bored. Spectators said it was fed an entire donkey & therefore sleepy. "I can kill the lion now, but I leave him alive out of mercy.....to emphasize that Islam is a religion of forgiveness" he stated.

If there wasn't people coming to watch, and film crew recording his idiotic scene, then this wouldn't have taken place to begin with. It was rather apparent that the lion had a full belly of donkey, and it was hot. Lions don't hunt in the heat of the day, in fact lioness do most all the hunting. If the world is a vampire, then I wish that it would remove people like this from existence.
