BOBO HAS BEEN KILLED :((
| DIANNE'S THREAD

Dear friends,

I just received the following via Dogs on Trial DOT Victoria on FB:

RIP BOBO

VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA
It is with great sadness, that we inform everyone that Bobo has been killed by Hume City Council, Victorian State Government and the Lost Dog's Home.
We do not know exactly when he was killed, but it may have been last week or the possibly the week before.
This disgusting act should never have happened. Bobo was condemned on the evidence given by a council ranger who clearly has no clue of what they are speaking about, as has been posted previously. This same ranger, after they had given evidence in Bobo's vcat hearing was asked under oath if they had in another case stated that the pasterns on a dog were in the dogs shoulder. The ranger said they had said that, and that it was a mistake. Many mistakes were made by this ranger. Well, they certainly made a mistake with Bobo, and those mistakes have killed an innocent dog.
Hume CC and the government will now want this to all go away quietly and be forgotten. This is not over, and it will not be going away quietly. Poor Bobo, held at Lost dog's Home for about a year, with no voice of his own, and probably happily and kindly went to his death with the needle stuck in him from the Lost Dogs Home. Everyone who had met Bobo commented on what a lovely boy he was, and the fact that this legislation has killed him, taken a great dog out of society, is further proof that this law is wrong on so many levels.
RIP beautiful boy. You deserved so much better from the people responsible for you and for your fight against this law. You deserved so much more from all the above listed who are responsible for killing you. So sorry we couldn't do more! XOX

Bobo's owner, has surrendered Bobo to the council, Bobo has done no harm. He was seized by Hume City Council because they think he looks like a pit bull. Please keep sharing the petition. Bobo is not dead at the moment, but he soon will be.

BOBO should NOT be killed!

BOBO HAS BEEN SURRENDERED TO COUNCIL BY OWNER. HE WILL BE KILLED!
It is with great sadness that we inform all of our wonderful supporters that the appeal to save Bobo's life will not be happening.
Bobo's owner, on advice from his Solicitor has surrendered Bobo to the council, and abandoned the appeal.

Dogs on Trial and ForDogsSake strongly disagree with this and made this quite clear to the owner and the solicitor. This decision is out of our control. If you would like to voice your opinion on this matter to the Hume City Council, as we will be, the following links are supplied.
We will also be protesting loudly, once again to the Minister and indeed the whole State Government of Victoria.

Also, please keep sharing the petition. Bobo is not dead at the moment, but he soon will be.

Will post further on this matter, but at the moment, time is running out and we must make our objections.

PETITION: FREE BOBO!

Another senseless death of an innocent dog by idiots. I am so mad about this and poor Lennox and countless others who never did anything wrong. RIP Bobo.

Yes, another senseless death of an innocent animal, let us reflect on it and all the senseless innocent deaths of millions of unborn babies!
