It's all been planed November 11, 2004 11:31 AM

It's all been planed. We must chose wisely.

I chose today  to become a part of this group.

This was not a accident. A accident happens because we've gone

the wrong way or done the wrong thing. Even an accident will produce

something good. We don't see it at the time of the accident.

What I know to be fact is there is coming a know kingdom?

Are we ready?   I try each day to believe in God full heartedly.

Sometimes that's very hard.  I have no biological brothers or sisters, Thank goodness I do have brothers and sisters in the Lord

my parents are in heaven, my husbands are in heaven.  My child lives his life and doesn't think of me often enough. That will be his lose when I'm called to heaven.

I make friends and a have friends depart from me. Either by death or they move and don't write. These moves and deaths are not accidents.

They have all been planned by God.

Dear Gina November 13, 2004 2:36 AM

Thank you for joining us. Your wisdom adds to the wealth in this Group. We are very happy you took the decision to join us, and we have much to learn from you.

God, Who presides over the evolution of the Cosmic Plan, is seated also in the heart of every being and will not permit us to ignore Him. "Without Thee we cannot live for a moment. As the Truth, Thou dost exist eternally within and without."

If in our ignorance we forget this deepest Truth, the Truth does not alter. If we live consciously in His Truth, we will resign all actions to God. If we do not, even then Truth will prevail. Sooner or later, we will yield to the purpose of God, but in the meanwhile there is no compulsion. God desires our free co-operation when beauty and goodness are born without travail and effortlessly.

When we become transparent media for the light of God, He uses us for His work.

In each of us, lies a principle of becomimg, an idea of divine expression. It is our real nature, finding partial expression in our various activities in our daily life. By following its guidance in our thought, aspiration and endeavour, we progressively realise the intention of the Divine Spirit in us.

Each one of us aim at something beyond herself/himself, at 'self-transcendence', whether she/he strives after personal  perfection, or devotes her efforts for other noble causes.

Hello all I haven't posted here yet so HI.

I believe that there is a destiny in our lives and what happens is supposed to no matter how awful or joyful the experience.  We often choose a path that looking back seems like the wrong one, but we forget that there was a reason for us to travel down that path in the first place.  Once we become spiritually enlightened enough we don't forget and are more able to make choices, knowing that we are supposed to be on a particular path, even when it seems very unlike us.  We know that all is as it should be and we walk taller and step more surely on the rocky roads.

No matter the paths we are each journeying on, the destination  is the same.  Enlightenment.

Dear Daphne W. November 13, 2004 5:35 AM

We are very happy to have you here amongst us. You do us an honour by your presence here. I know you are Spiritual in thought, word and deed.

Your Wisdom is much appreciated here, and what you've stated is true. We are working our minds on how to make our destiny 'goal oriented' collectively, with lesser possibilities of straying away from our chosen paths, and how do we become Spiritually strong and how do we discipline ourselves to achieve that strength.

Hello Rajan, thank you for you kind words.  I think that acceptance on a global level is part of the answer to the question.  Until we can each and everyone of us accept anothers views without judgement and with compassion it will be very difficult to break the old chains of "my way or no way" attitude.  Respect for one another as humans also comes into play I believe,  think of how different the world would be if everyone treated each other the way we want to be treated.  For me that is a goal worth reaching and journeying for!

Planning November 17, 2004 6:47 PM

An important lesson I learned a long time ago was that life (my life anyway) was unfolding in a very systematic and structured way. I used to argue with my life about this situation. I thought I should have more control over it, more say in how it unfolded. It soon became apparent to me that the more I 'messed' with my life, the unhappier I was. The more I 'messed' with it (trying to exert my will over it), the more it 'messed' with me (brought sadness, frustration and misery). Somewhere I got the message to quit 'messing' with it. Once I did this, things went much more smoothly. I was happier, more focused and on track. The more I let go, the more I received. I discovered I was able to see the reason for the events that were happening. I could see how this experience would affect not only me, but those around me. I had a profound sense of peace. I give thanks and praise everyday that my angels were able to get through to me and get me to stop 'messing' with it. Over the years, I've shared my 'stop messing with it' philosophy with numerous people, family and friends and they have experienced the same freedom and joy as I.

Blessings!

Dear Rosie U. November 18, 2004 8:38 AM

It is an honour to have you here amongst us, to share your Wisdom, and your valuable experience. We completely agree with your opinion, your experience.

With humility, I would state that most of us are 'externally driven' instead of being driven from within ourselves. The glamour of the external world seems to drive many of us, often ignoring Divine promptings within us.

Also, we do have tendencies to shape our own personality on the basis of incorrectly percieved truth. Truth reveals itself to us within ourselves in it's own time. One cannot 'rush' it out of oneself.

Please do post your experience and Wisdom for everyone's benefit.

I think I haven't introduced myself even though I've been a member for some time now. This looks like a good group - postings are very thought-provoking and deep, which I like .

Daphne, I agree with you totally. I believe we are on a particular path even if it seems very unlike us. Sometimes, I think of decisions I've made concerning my studies, work, love life or something else and I've asked why did I do something when another option would have been much better. But then I realise that everything happens for a reason even when we don't want to believe so. It's waste of time to go for "shoulda, coulda, woulda" thinking. We can't change the past but we can learn from it.

Rosie brings up another important thing to think about - planning. About life, Rosie wrote: "The more I 'messed' with it (trying to exert my will over it), the more it 'messed' with me (brought sadness, frustration and misery)." I couldn't agree more! Therefore, I've tried to achieve inner peace and believe that there are going to be positive changes in things I'm not so happy about in my life once I stop pushing and trying too hard. Of course we have to keep on living and not just sit and wait for things to happen. Planning too much is another thing. Now that I've tried to remain peaceful, I've been much more content with my life.   [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Happy Pearl Harbor Day. FDR knew it was going down and he knew his buddies would get rich.

 Guilty as charged, your Honor.
