If Senate Majority leader Harry Reid has his way in changing Senate Rule 22 and eliminating the filibuster, every radical nominee President Obama advances over the next two years will be a shoe-in for confirmation while the Democrats hold a clear majority in the Senate.
Republicans would have no way to slow or stop their pathways to confirmation. That should run a chill up the spine of every patriotic American!
The Senate has a very special function that has no participation by the House of Representatives: Taking action on presidential nominations for judicial, diplomatic, and administrative posts during what are known as Senate Confirmation Hearings.
In yet another parliamentary sleight-of-hand of the sort for which Senator Reid has become notorious, the Majority Leader is threatening to use the “nuclear option” and break longstanding Senate procedure to establish new rules that would eliminate the possibility of a minority party filibuster.
Sources say Reid’s ram-rod vote could come as early as January 22, the day after Barack Obama’s second term inauguration ceremony and less than a week away.

The greatest danger of the scurrilous Reid Plan would come when President Obama’s nominates individuals for Cabinet level and federal Judicial positions – including vacancies on the United States Supreme Court.
In an op-ed for the Washington Examiner, columnist Steven J. Duffield explained the scope of Reid’s dangerous plan this way…
“The most dramatic impact of the Reid Plan will be with regard to the Supreme Court, where the House of Representatives plays no constitutional role. President Obama will likely fill between one and three Supreme Court vacancies in the next four years, and he will be under enormous pressure from his base to nominate doctrinaire liberals who will reverse the decision upholding the partial-birth abortion ban, weaken personal liberties protected in the Bill of Rights, and eliminate the modest limitations on congressional power that the Rehnquist and Roberts courts have restored.
Duffield asserts that Obama’s judicial nominees who have previously been blocked by Senate filibusters could now have an unbridled path into federal judgeships such as “living Constitution” advocate Goodwin Liu, who Liberty Counsel Action strongly opposed when nominated, and the highly controversial Caitlin Halligan.
Most observers feel both of these radicals will be on the President's shortlist for the Supreme Court.

How does Reid keep getting elected?
I guess all those Mormons in Nevada keep that weasel in there. I think we dodged a bullet not having a Mormon president. Can you imagine what those 2 could do together to form a theocracy? That is the goal from what I've read.....when the constitution is hanging by a thread a Mormon will step in and form a theocracy.
