I hope to God they sue the pants off from them and win!
Unbelievable!!!!!!!!! This type of situation has gone beyond any and all type of sanity!!! All it does is make unrest and shows kids how to disrespect the law by putting a BAD image in their minds from the get go! Something like this needs to be settled between the parents and the school....PERIOD!!! Nobody else should be involved! If the parents and the school can't sort this kind of situation out and it continues with this child then and only then if it continues bring the law into it!!
BUT..even before that the child should be sent to get MAJOR counseling to see exactly what it is that makes him feel he has to do things like this! Apparently there is an anger issue deep inside of him that makes him feel less than...something is missing in this childs life and I "assume" it may be the vacancy of a dad! If there was a dad in his life I would have assumed he would also be in that picture..maybe I am wrong but kids who turn to being a bully are very unhappy within themselves for some reason..something is lacking BIG time!
In the case of this bully, it sounds like an ongoing thing. Sounds like a kid ready already for the Scared Straight program. Shame what some youth are being taught at any age, and look how young this one is. Mom probably couldn't afford karate lessons, or I'd say go for it. He'd know how to protect himself without even injuring the bully, and if he did have to give him his come uppance, it'd more likely scare him than hurt him. Served my daughter well with a bully kid in school who finally made his way to her one day. She told him 2 or 3 times to leave her alone, and he made the mistake of trying to punch her then. I'' just say the teacher did the right thing when she saw what happened, turned back around, & the bully didn't bother anyone agian. He was fine, but he learned a lesson. Noone knew she was in karate, as they were taught it was something you hold sacred, not brag about.
