January 28, 2007 9:21 PM I am not here much so that I can keep the pharoah game playing after being away from the computer, some of it is great information about farming, the different types of monuments etc. It has fine details like even seeing the different people walking down the streets. I am glad to know you are doing better and that you are back to playing the pharaoh game and hopefully be around at care2 more this year .. I have been away from care2 this last year myself a lot. A bit under the weather at times, and a bit not in the mood to do much .. but Am trying to catch up as well this year and Am trying to give it a better shot at starting with a better and brighter attittude towards everything. I love being on Care2 and I hate to see the group fading away .. Tawna, Ginny how are you ? ok "Image URL" is the address of the image on the web the image below is located at http://stopme.ru/pub/medium/stopme_ru_70_0_20070101_11449.jpg you can find this out by rightclicking the pic - select properties and read the location line ( or you can right click the image - select view image and it will open in a window with it's address shown in the address bar) and "Alternate Text" means nothing - you can put any word or number ( it is only purpose is that if the image can not be displayed the image placeholder will have a name of that image) [ send green star]

January 03, 2007 6:00 PM Hey Ginni, I guess I did miss a step, now that I looked back at how its done once you are on the properties line on your picture you have to take a copy of only the line that read address url the (you capu that whole line) and that's what builds your picture wherever you want to add it. Happy New year to you as well and here is how to add pictures to forums I hope I can explain it easy enough for you: 1- first you have to upload the picture into care2 by creating an album for yourself. 2- after you have the picture loaded on care2 all you have to do is: a- go into you photo album b- pick the picture you want to put in a certain forum c-right click on your mouse on the picture d- a menu will pop-up for you all you have to do then is scroll down all the way to the bottom of that menu and take a copy of the picture properties. e- then you can go to the forum where you want to add the photo f- hit the reply button and when your there you click on the little box that looks like a small picture frame g- then paste the picture properties in both lines that are there whe one that says "image url" and the one that reads "alternate text" h- then just hit submit .. if your pictures don't appear let me know and I will delete them for you and you can try again. anonymous	January 02, 2007 9:37 PM Well, Manal, I have tried every possible way to figure out how to put the "properties" of my picutres into that form that pops up, but I have no idea what "Image URL" and "Alternate Text" means. December 30, 2006 7:50 AM Hi Alex, I think I would say August would be the warmest .. but Egypt's weather is pretty mild in general so one can swim starting June and July even and the water will sure stay warm up to October .. Are you planning on swimming in the Nile river ?? I would suggest to swim in the Mediteranean sea or the Red sea .. they are more interesting to swim in and the fish and coral reeves are fascinating .. not that there are no fish in the Nile because I am sure there is .. and probably crocodiles too the more you go towards Sudan .. September 13, 2006 6:27 PM Hi Ginni, How are you .. ?? you know what I sometimes have problems with inserting pictures myself .. all you got to do is : 1. load your pictures to a photo album 2. once you did that click on that photo with the left side of your mouse to take a copy of the pictures properties 3. then come to the forum where you want to post the photo ..(hopefully its this one) :0) 4. click on the square box where it says insert image 5. and paste the properties of your photo (picture) into both top lines in the box that will open up for you. 6. then click insert and your picture should show up .. Let me know if this works for you .. I hope I did not forget any steps if anyone here can correct me if I did .. Have a great day Ginni and hope to see some pictures of yours ..
