Nance, you are off to a running start. I gave away Star and Dancer to a school and training facilitiy, they weren't seeing me enough. Not fair to them, and I would never sell them ( what might happen to them ??auctions?dog food??),plus they get to stay right where they are on 200 acres of pasture. So,I have done this with a few pairs of horsees that I have owned in the past, and for some reason had to move or rather sail away.
This pic is a gift to me from Lynn Geth, (happy Chanukah, btw), it is my name, literally
Taunka Maza /Iron Horse.
me 2.
I am so distraught that I don't have any of my horse pics with me,or online for that matter.
The ones I had in my album got deleted by accident.
Going to ask friends if they have pics on their pc of any of my 3 pair of horses,
I've had mostly quarterhorses, one Bucksin, one paint and one saddlebred.
My stables were also breeding Halflingers,a beatiful horse, warm blooded but not massive,
graceful like an arabian.
Oh,and of course,my favorite horse Star, who was a kentucky thoroughbred....very smart and gorgeous now a school horse.
His name was Big Boy,but the people who had him before me ruined his feet thru neglect
and in turn it ruined his back
had to ride with multiple saddle blankets, and try not to hurt his raised haunches.
Thanks for the interest, will try to post pics,of his face
I think I only have one side at a time
also Star my thoroughred, so smart,Now a school horse.
Hopefully teaching people how to enjoy and love riding.
My gosh, I'm so behind. Sis, I didn't know you gave away Star and Dander. I know you miss them but you did the right thing giving them to that school since you can't give them the attention they deserve. I'm sure it was hard on you dearest.
Love that Abstract picture. And all the others you Hoofys have posted. Such beautiful photos. Thanks guys for pulling together. Nance thank you the the wonderful contributions.
Been so busy with paper work. Gotta go to bed. Tax man appt. later and it's the 1st. gotta go all over Town giving my SSI check to everyone and am already broke. Gawd !! Ellen how are you holding out with the snowstorm we got and now this Arctic Blast ? Will be -20* degrees below zero when I'm running around tomorrow so leaving Dottie at home and taking an extra blanky for my legs while I drive on the ice. Will be busy for the next month with more stuff but will try keeping in touch. Can't send green stars to some of you so here you go
. Now I know you will all join me in asking God to please watch over our friends who got hit by those Tornados in Giorgia, Kentucky, I hope Helen is o.k., and other states. A huge chunk of my tree fell out over the road instead of my roof last night. Am sore from shoveling for days, my hands hurt. The Town cut up and stuck my tree in the "Wood Chipper" but thank God it didn't fall over my bed. Hoofys Huggles to everyone. I love yous guys. and Dottie says whimper-whimper to all fur-babys. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
