I am finally getting myself organized...I am having to pull organizational ideas from my school days and create myself an "assignment" book. Lately I have had soooo many creative ideas come out of my brain and things to do regarding getting my biz going (in spite of short funds and only one vehicle and minimal trips to town--
at Dubya) that things aren't getting done and I'm getting too lazy...(anyone else got this "problem?")
Anyway, finally getting around to looking for thyroid-related stuff, particularly in the genetics field. I found a couple links any of you other congenital hypo people might be interested in...and here they are:
http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/gene=tshr
http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition=congenitalhypothyroidism
Hopefully someday I can pay to have a geneticist study the genes of my mom and myself and find out what is behind the cause of my/our problem(s). Endocrine problems run in our family, through my mom's late father's side, and I am hungry for confirmation of the genetic link. I know the link is there intuitively, but for other people in my life, scientific confirmation is necessary.
Anyway, more links to come!
Blessings and Good Health,
