The Swedish photographer Paul Hansen (image left) won the prestigious award for the world's best press photo 2012.

It shows a mourning procession in Gaza for two children and their father, who were killed by Israeli bombs.

'This award is the highest honor you can get in this profession,' expressed Hansen the Associated Press. 'I'm happy but also very sad.

The family lost two children and her mother lying unconscious in the hospital.'

Hansen took the photo on November 20, 2012 during the so-called 'Operation Pillar Of Cloud' of the IDF, the bombed Gaza between November 14 and 22, 2012.

They are buried by grieving relatives, together with their father Fouad, in the background.
