Boston Marathon Tragedy

We don't know the full story yet,and I (unlike the news media) am not jumping to conclusions. This I do know..a country that perpetuates violence both here and abroad is certain to witness violence.

Another word for karma is blowback..

...Just a thought,do you think that our own gov would do this,so they can justify implementing martial law, disarming people, and further violating our privacy and rights?

Hey!  I agree with Chile's post!

And Justice? The downsides would be too much to justify the risks of this kind of false flag, so I doubt it, but who knows?  The elites that the government really represents are getting pretty  arrogant.   Getting away with quite a lot because of their political class allies.

I better delete it then.

Justice..I'm not going to draw any conclusions yet,but in my book,a government that has continually lied and covered up things always has to be suspect.

I do not have enough information to draw any conclusions. This , however,is the first thought that came to my mind.Whoever did this is a monster, there is no other word for it.

Thought this was interesting. Photos analyzed.  I don't know who did this but it is interesting.

All religions and political systems are equal in their hypocrisy. The Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Islam and Christianity), in particular, are each founded on the favor or disfavor of a terroristic deity and for the world to be surprised that violence is born from that foundation is disingenuous.  There are no winners in this latest drama.  I could not comprehend the cheering of the thousand officials having caught what the media often referred to as the lone wolves.  There are no winners. It all seemed too crazy fast...from beginning to end.  We send out the moral, media and police Calvary for an attack on American ideals...it's mythology, but not for the violence, in all its insidious guises, perpetrated every single second in this country against men, women, children, animals, mountains, you name it, by corporations, criminals from the sublime to the petty, egoic disputes, et al.

So, two young men have thrown away their lives in throwing the lives of others away and it becomes another drama come and gone.  For some reason, this latest theatre seemed more surreal to me and I can't quite place as to why that is.

Anyway, here is an interesting link: http://jonathanturley.org/2013/04/20/swat-is-america-coming-under-martial-law-redux/

Well, I feel that the distortion of religion, rather than the religion itself,is the root cause.I am none of the religions that you mentioned, but if you look at the Bible new testament,Christ taught "If you live by the sword, you die by the sword","turn the other cheek", "As I have loved you,so love one another","For God SO LOVED the world, that He gave His only begotten Son...."

This list is endless of teachings about love and peace. If people followed what was really taught, not their own version ,this would not be happening. If,as the Bible states, that God is love, then,as Ziggy Marley put it,"love is my religion".

Hello everyone, Justice, Kaya, Parsifal and David .

To make a short story, my religion is love.

Many religions began with good intentions. Christ taught love, tolerance and being non materialist. Within a couple of centuries, those that claimed to follow him sent their followers out to destroy the art and culture of Greece because it was "pagan". Opposing religions or even different interpretations of the teaching of Christ were called heretics and often the penalty of such as death. The "official" leaders lived in palaces, wore silks and were covered with gold. What happened?

This is a repeating scenario throughout history. Power attracts those that wish to use it for their own benefit. Getting that position of power is their talent. They develop a following of those that they reward for their support. The corruption of the original doctrine is eroded. There are no historical examples where this has not occurred. Sometime it happens quickly, other times it takes generations. That is why centralizing power is a bad idea. It generates corruption and degrades society.

RELIGION IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

Actually, what it is is the DISTORTION of religion, done by people who are HATEFUL, to promote their own agendas.HATE is what is dangerous. Not that I promote any Babylonian/system religions-I do not.
