Ducky Just, who used to speak Human to me. He died from cancer in 1989. He's buried in Chicago at a Pet Cemetary, not the scary movie one where they come back to life. He loved that ferris wheel. He liked trashing it and throwing in on the floor and then laugh. I still miss him to. He used to say Mommy, prettier and prettier: Where's the daddy ? : Whistle and say "Look at you". And he could fly like a Fighter Pilot. He was a Hoot. Fruddy Hugs from me and all my Fur-Babies. He stopped talking to me when I got him a baby girl Fluffy for him to mate with but she was so young he took over as a Father instead. xoxoxo
A think the Scottish football manager (Gordon Strachan) should sign up the pups and kitties in time fur the next World Cup... They cannae be any worse than we've got!!

That is such an incredible story about those 3 circus rescued animals bonded stronger than blood.
Thanks Joy
I fear we are losing one of our dear friends - Fargin who is now almost 13. We adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 4 months old. She is mix breed but adorable, fiesty and a bully at meal times compared to our other dog. We went for one and came home with two ~~ complete suckers for a cute face and a wagging tail.
~
They are total opposites in all ways and such great company for each other. I don't know who it will be harder on if she does go, Basa, me or the kids
Nothing sadder than losing a fur baby. We had two sisters. When the first died of cancer she was 15. The other lived until she was 20, but she as we always missed her sister. I guess it was a mercy that Belle left first because Jessie was more dominant and more self reliant. I don't know if Belle could have survived without Jessie, but Jessie was devastated as we were. I still don't regret having two at the same time. They shared a special bond and love. Jilly, you, Fargin, Basa, your children are in my thoughts and prayers. May God protect you and what is best for all of you happen. Know that everyone is this group understands your pain; we can't stop it, but we can support and love you.
Jilly, Nancy stated it so beautifully that there's nothing much that I can add except that we who have lost furkids feel your heartache. My thoughts and prayers are with you all that you may come through this devastating loss when it happens with only good memories of the years you all had with Fargin. Much love being sent your way, dear fruddy buddy. xoxoxo
Sorry tae hear aboot Fargin Jilly. Lynn's spot on, Nancy has stated it beautifully and we kin be here fur ye if ye need support buddy. Vinnie has recently went through sort of the same thing, losing Auld Dottie, so she will know whit yer going through right now. fur ye J
Lynn and Joy.....Tooooo cute they pictures and video's
Awww, thanks everyone. She's hanging in there but such a poorly wee big thing. Her back legs keep giving out on her and we have to pick her up and take her back to her bed. Vet said she doesn't appear to be in much pain, her body is just starting to fail on her. The joys of aging I guess. I've decided I'm not going to age any more. I'm staying right where I'm at. Have a wonderful Tuesday Fruddy Buddy's (you know, when I say it, it makes me smile).
Love your frog pictures. Jilly, you and Fargin are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure there will be some more good times before you have to say the final good-bye. I know with my fur babies, at the end, they had good days and bad days until my family, me and the fur babies, made our final decision. God bless you and yours.
Jilly dear, yes Nancy said it all. I have just gone through this for months of lifting auld Dottie to go to the bathroom outside, she was also going blind and losing her hearing, which I didn't tell you guys because it was all too much. Spend every extra minute you have with Fargin and forget about care 2, we will be here for you when you need us. I hope we can offer some comfort. I just cried tonight again as it's only been a few months. I had her for my birthday at least and gave her vanilla ice cream all day. Was glad she wasn't here Monday at 6 in the morning when we got hit with an EF 0, Tornado because I don't know how I would have gotten her to the basement. But I think Adrenaline would have kicked in, like the Incredible Hulk, because one day years ago at the Park by the River she loved so much but never caught a Duck, some Jerks pulled up in a van and opened the doors and 4 Pit Bulls came running at us. I yelled, "Hey those dogs need to be on a leash". Meanwhile somehow I had picked up 80 LB. (pounds) Dottie without even thinking because I was so scared for her. Anyway they left right away before I could call the Police. No power and I've been picking up huge limbs till tonight when I got on. Am exhausted, and Food pantry day tomorrow so I have to go to bed. I'm praying for you too Jilly as we all know how hard this can be. Fruddy Hugs from me and Dottie's spirit says woof-woof from Heaven.
xoxo

Holly, no time to check out the videos tonight, but I will when I can. Fruddy Hugs to all my little family here for all the kind words Brenny, Sweetie, Joy, Holly, Nancy, Lynn for me and Dottie. And for all the prayers for Jilly and Fargin. She needs them right now. Nancy, Dottie is probably playing with Bela and Jessie. And Joy, she's also playing with pretty Hunter. On 2nd thought, Jilly come here whenever you need a good laugh or comfort. You know I started this Play-Date last year for my Birthday Thread for Fur-Babys in Honor of my Brother Junior who got killed and these very same friends held me up then too, so you'll be in good hands here with much hugs and love. Please feel free to cry on our shoulders whenever you need us. After my birthday was over, I was asked to keep the Play-Date going by Joy, Sun Ah Choi, and a few other friends because it was so much fun and new people could post photos of their fur-babies Past and Present, so it shall continue. I was able to baby-sit Muffy the other day and it did my heart and soul good. Patsy's Mom is home now so they came and got her. Got a few good pictures but no money to get the film developed so one day you'll see Muffy's photos. Also there is always Good news to read in "Acheivements and Milestones". Please feel free to Open any Archives you'd like to see. Am watching on the telly "The Wonder of Dogs" on Nat'l. Geo Channel from Lancastershire, England, where they are doing doggie DNA, to see how all the different shapes of dogs came about from the Original WOLF. Cool show. Can't get on tomorrow till whenever due to thunderstorms so Fruddy Hugs from us and xoxoxoxo

A Always try tae find time fur this fine group of caring fruddies who are always there fur friends who need support. Well said Vinnie
fur Fargin wee sis
It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that Fargin passed peacefully away last night. We are waiting until after school to tell the little ones. Here she is getting enjoying a brush down after her bath by the 3 yr old.
I'd like to think she's made a new friend in Dottie xoxo
Yes, Jilly beautiful Fargin is playing with Dottie
as we speak in Heaven. Dottie is probably saying, Hey, you talk like Uncle Iain, so you must be Scottish.
I know your heart is heavy so is mine for you. Cry all you want and remember we are here for you dearest.
xoxoxo
Oh Jilly, he can play with my four gone setters, Bogart, TC, Fyre number one, and Azuki, I know they'll be happy to see him.Fyre no two keeps in touch..
How he found me, long story. ..magic is involved.
Hugs, and wet sloppy kisses!!!
Sorry, change that to she...again my sympathies, Jilly
Hug your boys close, it's tough on them.
Jilly, we here know the heartbreak of losing a furkid, whether a dog, cat, gerbil, hamster, rabbit, etc. They become members of our family and they love and cherish us as we love and cherish them. The loss of your Fargin is such a sad situation and we all feel for you. I hope the boys didn't take it too hard. Just keep telling them that Fargin is still with them only she's looking down on them from over the Rainbow Bridge. We're all here if you want to cry on our shoulders.
I hope that my Bambi and Teddy were there to greet Fargin and become friends. I hope that Fargin liked cats 'cause my beloved Minky is there to become friends, also. Keep your chin up, sweetheart. Love you! ♥
Lovely comments and feelings; makes me proud to be a member of such an amazing group. So sorry, Jilly, but there is peace there, and he will be with you and your boys by and by. God bless you and give you the strength to bare this. Love is two-sided; it gives us great joy, but with the earthly loss, it gives us great pain. Before long, I pray that your memories are all joyful ones and Fargin returns to his healthy persona. Take care and know we love you.
Lynn, forgot to compliment you on your beautiful friend, Mandy. She adorable; you can see her personality in her face. I imagine she is full of spirit and love. Thanks, Iain for agreeing with me about how awesome our group. You know, agreement is the way to every woman's heart.
You guys made me cry again... What beautiful words. Thank you all so much. The boys are giving extra loving to Basa our other fur baby. We got them both at the same time so he's missing her. Garick took it badly and is having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that everything dies. He cried his eyes out but the little one who is only 3 patted him on the back, gave him a big kiss and said "It's alright Garick, Fargin is with the fishy". (Our fish died a few months ago.) Who can argue with that logic. Nice to know Fargin now has an abundance of friends, makes it a bit easier...
~
Mandy is such a cutie pie Lynn. Brenda, thank you honey. Tas, how awesome that Fry #2 found you again! (I'm a believer.) Vinnie, Fargin will have Dottie talking Scottish in nae time, dae ye ken whit a mean. Nancy, I totally agree with you that this is truly a group of wonderful people! Iain, thanks spud!
Jilly, there is not much more to say; everyone gave you a beautiful card and a beautiful blessing for your loss, I just want you to know that "God's in his heaven and all's right with the world including Fargin." Love you and know you are in the prayers of many who have walked in your shoes.
Wow, just read your loved many dogs quote
My heart must be bigger than my head as I've had ten dogs already and I'm barely halfway through. ..

Our dogs bring so much pleasure and we give so much back. Each loss I tell myself no more and it never sticks. I take solace in the fact that we had such a good time together and such a wonderful relationship, I hope you think that way too. Enjoy, if you can, your weekend everyone.
Good morning beautiful ladies and of course ma best pal Iain too. Life is better, we've been focusing on the good times and the boys are making sure that Basa is much loved. I'm the same as you Trinity, every time we lose a fur baby we say no more and then....
Great pictures. It's been raining here since noon yesterday, I love the smell and the sound of rain but it does make Florida rather gloomy. Poor kids are desperate to play outside but the humidity level is still high too. Hopefully it lightens up and we can head on out. Right now they are playing with a rubber worm and having a jolly old time. Who needs big expensive toys eh! Have a fandabidozi Sunday. Much love, Jilly xo
so funny Lynn, thanks fur sharing
Very cute pics Joy
Great ye huv happy memories of Fargin Jilly. Basa and the boys are helping each other with their loss Hope ye managed tae get oot and aboot

Huv a guid Monday fruddy's
Fyre should have audittioned for that video
he has been talking to everybody lately, especially sea lions ,dolphins, sea gulls, and his fave, pelicans!!
great find Lynn,thanks
Glad we can lighten your heart Jilly and mine too. Cute video Lynn. I saw something like that on Animal Planet. Been busy with old stuff in this old house breaking down. Now Severe Thunderstorms starting tomorrow night and all through Wednesday, so I'll be back. Also a little fed up with some stuff which I'll discuss with you Sis and Sweetie in "Our Secret Place", later now time for *beddydye* from me and auld Dottie spirit to Fyre and Mollie, Mandy. I can hear the Coyotes in the woods in the distance "Barking up a Storm". They always do that before severe weather. I just listen and watch Nature, or my Arthritis. All better than the Weatherman or woman. ha,ha. xoxo
fyre has stopped barking at the dock entirely
A widower with his wife rescued pit mix has moved in next door
the poor dog is so traumatized, barks all the time, and is so unhappy
most people are frightened of her, just a scared little girl
Fyre gave her a long lecture I was told,by his baby sitter, lol
she actually fell overboard while tied up,and almost strangled herself, cut her neck up badly, fyre alerted someone and she got rescued
but the captain gave the owner a long talking to about getting her a harness like Fyre's,but he has gotten it,haven't seen it on her ,it's been a week already
the dude is depressed and spaced out on double dosed antidepressants,he's like a zombie,I am heart sick about the poor dog!!!
Hi, to all my fruddy buddies. I hope everyone is doing fine today. Siouxz, I hope that the owner of that poor, defenseless little dog gets a harness for her. If the guy's like a zombie, he shouldn't have a dog. Animals should be cherished and taken care of, not left defenseless.
Joy, I absolutely love the picture of the adorable baby and the equally cute kitties. The kitten with its face up to the baby and the baby looking like she's about to kiss the kitten is just precious. Thanks for sharing that with us.
I have a sweet video to show all of you. I watched this with a big smile on my face. The basset hound is a rescue dog and he and the little girl are best friends. So cute!
Love the things you all post, so cute. Tas, fingers crossed he takes better care of that sweet dog. It must be petrified of the water now. One of our neighbors got a new puppy, it's so darned cute. Garick is so taken with it. I'll see if I can get a picture to post in here. Away to work, big hugs everyone xoxo
Tasunka, hope the poor dog has his harness by now. If not, maybe you could take some cookies or casserole to the poor man and talk to him. Show him Frye's harness. I am sure he loves the dog and would be even more devastated if something also happened to the dog. Love your picture and quote about the eagle, Holly. We have to remember to try to live that way. Joy, loved your picture of the baby saving a life. Too bad all adults don't know how to do that, and of course, Lynn, I loved the dancing between the little girl and her doggy. What a love story! Hope your Sunday is as beautiful as ours is in St. Louis. Sunny, slight breeze, 84, and just a trace of the leaves starting to change. Totally awesome; Nature is beautiful. Thanks to all of you Fruddies for being totally awesome and beautiful.
Cute pics Joy, and that video is awesome. Am a qualified 1st aider and great that the bairn is learning at an early age. LOL. If we all learned the basics of 1st aid (CPR etc) more lives could be saved!
Nice quote Holly
A like this time of year to Nancy Leaves starting to change here to
