Lawlessness by the lawmakers
So the Senate has passed a bill to allow those who broke the law to become citizen of the United States. Those who are law breakers receive citizenship as their reward. Those who make the laws ignore the law of the land, the Constitution, as they scheme their way to another election. Those who are to interpret the law based on the Constitution, bypass its context and do what they will. These are chief among the criminals in society because they are the gatekeepers of justice and rule of law, yet they are the biggest violators of it. 'Should have seen it coming--The Communist Manifesto--the bible of statism--expressly abolishes all religion, all morals, and requires the state to be the omnipotent provider for the people. The occupant of the Oval Office outlined his version of statism in his second term inaugural address in January.
Weaving Constitutional themes throughout his message, he subtly replaced individual enterprise as the underpinning of what has made America great with "collective action." He elegantly threaded concepts of traditionally Constitutional liberties with bold suggestions that government was the sole provider and protector of the people. Much of what he said sounded great. But be forewarned, it is how he will implement these ideals--from the perspective of increased government control over the population by taxes, regulations, and outright violations of his oath of office (not enforcing defense of marriage laws, forcing government tax funded health care, promoting Islamic expansion through unconstitutional nation building, etc.)--that will turn his sweet words to a sour acid in the belly of every God fearing, freedom loving American.
He said, "That is our generation's task -- to make these words, these rights, these values of life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness real for every American. Being true to our founding documents does not require us to agree on every contour of life. It does not mean we all define liberty in exactly the same way or follow the same precise path to happiness. Progress does not compel us to settle centuries-long debates about the role of government for all time, but it does require us to act in our time." How is it that we do not define liberty the same way? Can one have liberty under weigh of expansive government? That is not the traditional vision of liberty. His words are a poison to liberty.
His words were designed to convince the masses that government is the grantor of freedom, of pursuit of happiness, of living life. If they could talk, however, the four million or more preborn America citizens who lost their lives under this most historic and ardent presidential supporter of abortion would tell you what this White House's version of Constitutional guaranteed life really means. 2 Timothy 3:13 says, "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." Jesus Christ also warned in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Government is not God. Government is not the giver of life, liberty or happiness. It is only supposed to protect these rights from those who would take them away. Now it is taking them away in the name of giving them.
