I have a'ghost story' for Christmas playing across my eaves and roof right now! LOL If anyone really believes in ghosts and their eerie sounds, you need to be at my house right now! The wind is blowing in such a fashion that I'm hearing the WOOOOOOH-ooooooOOOH sounds rising and falling just like in an eerie movie. Maybe that's who messed with our hot water tank. Hahahaha. Yesterday our hot water quit. Tried reset, didn't work. So till we can get someone in to see what it is, I have to try and go take a cold shower right now. This is where I wish we had a bathtub downstairs instead of just a shower-can't keep carrying pots of hot water to the tub upstairs!-Well, here goes nothin'-!
Okay. Whew! I braved the cold elements and took that cold shower. Now I need a hot toddy and a seat by the fire. -Darn, way too early for a hot toddy, so a cup of hot coffee will have to do!
I love river rock fireplaces! Wish I had one.
THANKS GUYS AND GALS FOR ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL POSTINGS. SHERRY I HOPE YOUR BATHROOM SITUTION HAS BEEN FIXED!!!!
Well, not yet. I think we are going to have someone come out from Sears or someplace, to assess the problem, before we bring in a so called expert, and possibly get milked for a whole new tank if we don't need one. Not to say for sure that all are like that, but the few make people leary, and it's always better to get a 2nd or 3rd evaluation depending on the problem with something and for the cost estimate of fixing or replacing.
