Just thought this could be a good place to post our favorite documentaries so that if someone happens to see that one is on that person will know if it is worth watching.

I personally like a number of episodes of Meet the Ancestors. Here in the States it is on History International- I watch it on Sundays at 12:00 and 12:30, but I think it is on Wednesdays as well. It was a series that lasted seven seasons in Britain, but there are no new episodes being made. The website of Julian Richards (the host) can be found here:

I still enjoy Time Team, but Meet the Ancestors was definitely my favourite. It's a shame no more will be made.
