After a 10 year campaign led by Greenpeace last night the Senate passed laws that ban illegal timber being sold into Australia.
This is historic legislation and one of the first of its kind in the world. Once they are enforced, these laws will directly help stop illegal and destructive logging in places like Papua New Guinea and Borneo.
