She was denied medical care, laid in her urine, had maggots in her eye, was covered in fleas and filth -- while healthy animals are terminated. She was adopted by a concerned citizen who took her immediately to a vet after getting her water and food which she desperately consumed--the vet and new owner had her put to sleep because she was described as "too far gone." And yet? Pasco County Animal Control walked by her and let her suffer without a word. This is animal abuse, and when one animal suffers...at the hands of the state...we all suffer.

In Arbucies, Gerona (near Tossa del Mar) the judge has allowed the hunting of dogs that live in a property in the area. On the 21st twenty people hunted ten dogs for two hours, preventing the volunteers from filming the disgraceful hunt. 47 dogs have also been taken from the same finca to a dreadful dog pound in spite of been chipped and well cared for, at least twenty dogs have been killed there so far, there are bodies buried everywhere in the vicinity. The dog pound and police have until the 16th of January to hunt the rest! Please sign the petition below to stop this, it is in Spanish but now you know what it says...another barbaric event in Spain, we must all speak for the innocent! In many countries, sexual acts with animals are not forbidden.
In Denmark it is not clearly forbidden to have sex with animals, as long as
the animal does not suffer. So, the Danish legislation decides that people
must not harm an animal and if they do so through the sexual act they will
be punished but if they go through the sexual act without harming the animal
it is ok.
The so called "zoophilia&quo t; is a growing phenomenon in Germany too. Until 1st
September 1969, sex acts between humans and animals were punishable by §
175b of the Criminal Code. During the first Penal Reform, which led to an
amendment of the current Penal Code, the criminal offense to bestiality has
been repealed. So, sexual acts with animals are no longer punishable unless
injures and psychological damages will be demonstrated. The German Animal
Welfare Act § 17 and § 18 can only be applied when it is able to prove that
the animal suffers severe damages.
All animals are creatures with their own dignity, which must have respect by
humans, because they deserve that.
