Natural Parks / Parques Nacionales March 04, 2005 10:16 PM

There are many Natural Parks in Colombia, which principal purpose is to protect Colombian unique wildlife and biodiversity... I have only gone to Gorgona National Park (situated in the pacific ocean close to Buenaventura), and it was one of the greatest experiences ever... we went in August when the Humpback whales (ballenas jorobadas) come to the ecuatorial oceans, and we could enjoy watching whales at least 6 times... I would like to invite everyone to tell their experiences about any trip you have done to a Colombian National Park, and at the same time ask anything about national parks you want to visit... feel free to post your experience, pictures, etc... This is the official page of Colombian National Parks if you want any information... (en espan-ol)  [ send green star]
