But now...if people are ready to try and solve this mystery, we should gone about it quite methodically. What do you think??

A Mystery?

My neighbor took the books I didn't want to keep (1 1/2 garbage bags) and she actually read ALL those books! What she did say is she could divide them up into categories of same plot...but they were all different even so. I thought that was really interesting.
For myself, I've wanted lighter reading near the holidays... but actually, I've found some mystery books set at the Christmas time and it's fun to read them. Do you know of any Christmas mysteries? I'd be interested in hearing about them. I can't find the one I've been reading... I think it's in the car... but it's by either Mary Higgins Clark or Mary Jane Clark or maybe both together, because it was written by a mother and daughter together.
Well, times up. I'll talk to you later,
Karen B.

Hi ,
I'm new to this group. I've noticed no one's posted for a long long time. Myself I like what you would call light mysteries. What I mean is I'm an animal lover especially cats so I read mostly but not all the time mysteries that have cat characters in them. There's one author (Shirley Rosseau Murphy) who's cats talk to their human owners because they witnessed a murder in the first book. She does fantasy/mystery. I also plan to read more of her this summer. I also like Carole Nelson Douglas (Midnight Louies series)
So MEMBERS what is your reading list for this summer????

Welcome to our very quiet group which I hope will eventually get off it's feet.
There is a wonderful group of stories where the cat ends up solving the crimes...ie.:"the Cat Who....?" Unfortunately, we had to pack everything in boxes to get new rugs and my books aren't back on the shelf. If anybody knows the names or author it sure would help. If not, when I get to those books I'll let you know. They're quite fun.
Also, there's a whole series about some kind of kitchen cooks who solve murders, or something, (I haven't had time to read them yet... they were given to me), and they actually give you recipes in the book.
But... I think the cat books are the cutetest!

I just had an old fashioned weekend of watching a lot of my favorite murder mysteries on TV and sipping on a variety of flavored teas. This was so much fun!
I'm sure we all remember Jessica Fletcher... how about Columbo?...I really enjoyed "Mystery Woman - Jane Doe". It was a real cliff-hanger this time... ![]()
I wonder what other mysteries we'll see right here around Holloween? I notice more oldies are brought out around holidays. Anybody else see/read anything good lately?
