D You Believe that Your Dec'd Loved Ones Are Watching After You? September 23, 2005 7:07 AM

No matter what their religion is, hundreds of people believe that, do you?  Even without a sign, or a ghost appearance, how do you feel about this theory?  Are your loved ones gone forever, or do you think they keep their earthly connections?  Can they protect us? Do they know what your doing?

I'd be interested in reading your comments...

I believe that Rudy is with me all the time.  Actually I think that I have to believe this or life would be unbearable.  But....I have been fortunate enough to have received so many signs and messages from him, and that makes the believing easy.  Especially for me as someone who has to have everything make logical sense.  LOL, one time I said out loud to him "hey, I haven't heard from you in a while, whats up with that."  The next day my sister called and told me that she had had a dream the night before, about Rudy and he said to tell me that he wasn't with me because he new I had support and he needed to be with his brother.  Can't get much clearer than that LOL.  His brother at the time was fighting in Falujah.  I don't believe that the bonds ever weaken.  I think as we get stronger our loved ones pull back and let us walk on our own.  But they are always there.   [ send green star]

Marvelous observation!  I, too, think that our loved ones can come to look after/visit us, but that their time doing so may decrease as time passes.  One reason is what you've stated - that we get stronger and may not need them as much.  Another may be that the "time measurement" may be so different between the realms that what is a long time to us may be only a minute to them.  But, I still talk with them every day and have them with me whenever I need it.  Sunday I went to a roller coaster theme park and rode a number of them.  Laurel loved them, and I prayed that she be with me as I was something we shared, and the recall of those shared moments made the riding better, even with the aching of her absence.  [ send green star]
I strongly believe in this Giuliana... September 27, 2005 7:30 AM

I strongly believe in this Giuliana...Thank you for asking the question. From the comments on this thread I can see that we are not alone in our beliefs and feelings. The signs in my life are so astounding that at times even I of little faith have had my faith strengthened beyond doubt. I just recently had another sign blessed upon me and believe it or not it was worth the message and wait.---ginger  [ send green star]

I think they are a mere breath away, so much of the time, I feel the veil between the worlds is very thin.  I, too, have had many signs and heart touches that tells me this.  I also agree, that as time here for us passes, and we become stronger, that our beloveds draw back to some extent, as they have things to attend to, and to persue in their new lives.  I keep Jenny close to my heart every day, we are still as deeply connected as we were when she was here.  And I know, that while time seems endless here without her, that it really isnt.

My dear friends,

I agree with all of you!  That's exactly my thinking.

I have received and still receive lots of signs particularly from my mother and Tony...  in fact, by a mere coincidence, I had a dream last night when they were together...  As a matter of fact, I like to think that they really are, watching over me because I'm having several health problems I need to solve...   In any case, I have NO doubt in my mind that our deceased loved ones are still with us...  simply behind a veil, just like Novella said.  But here comes my next question and new thread:  do you think that they have met each other and communicate thelepathically about us?
