MERRY CHRISTMAS! December 20, 2005 4:08 PM

When we think about our deceased loved ones at Christmas, we often still cry for their loss, but we also smile at the recollection of those funny, loving, and beautiful times we shared...

I would encourage everyone, myself included, to think about the nice and NOT painful memories...  What we learned from them and what they meant to us.  Let's be thankful.  Let's try to accept and endure the loneliness ...

I'm still grieving, but I feel Tony's presence and this comforts me...  I'm sure he would like for me to enjoy the Holidays, even though I burst into tears at the simple thought of them...  For him, I won't lose control of myself, but I will light candles, honor his memory, and hope one day we'll be together again.

Love, peace, and prayers,

Giuliana aka Princess Little Rock

Me, too December 22, 2005 5:06 PM

As I head to Long Beach to share my Mother's last Christmas in the house she's lived in for 52 years (she's moving to be with my sister), I wish all of you a Merry Christmas or whatever holiday you observe.  Keep the memories of those no longer with us close to you (there are many such memories in Mom's house), and cry if you need to.  [ send green star]
