Now that alternative energy sources are being well-researched, it would be profitable for the Ford motor company to investigate seriously into clean coal technologies and hydrogen vehicles.
Japan and Sweden are already doing so with positive results. The Toyota Prius already has everyone thinking green. The problem with these green cars is maintenance, part replacement, and refueling.
However, hydrogen cells have a potentially easy-to-find (and implement) network of refueling "gas" stations, which would make the green car revolution feasible for us lazy Americans.
Of course, we can continue to rely on OPEC oil, but perhaps energy ventures with OPEC concerning hydrogen might prove fruitful for companies like Ford and GM.
