The Apteria will be only a battery car when first introduced. It will later have a small gas/diesel motor to keep it running over longer distances. They are still working on the price. I am a mechanic and know that it is not what you drive but HOW you drive that makes a difference.Excluding BIG SUVs. No one needs one of these for daily transport unless they are moving alot of people to the same local. I am watching this car to see what becomes of it. The tech. ava. today that I see will not give what they are hoping to give and have e mailed them this question and NEVER got anything back. For now drive responsively,tune-up and tire pressures checked and only go in the car when you need. Walk it does a body good. Might look at a segway. Tryed one in Disney and was VERY impressed.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
