Please do what you can to get Rick, Jean and Debbie out of that gassing pound! They are all scheduled to die February 20, at 5:00 pm. Donate if you can, and REPOST all over!

Feline condos are made of sandstone Corian with beech accents. Each space has a separate toilet area. The carpet climbing structures are shaped like bonsai trees. A giant waterfall on one wall has terraced ledges, where cats perch and lap oxygenated water.

Older cats have established personalities, and so you know what you are getting. I have a lot of good responses using that line of reasoning. They may also appeal more to someone that does not want a 20 year commitment. Encourage people to think 5 to ten years down the road, and it may help get some older animals adopted.

PLEASE HELP 8 MONTH OLD PUPPY HIT BY CAR Friday, 1:42 PM
THIS GIRL WAS PULLED OUT OF A HIGH KILL IN DEPLORABLE CONDITION. SHE HAD ONE EYE THAT WAS PROTRUDING. I COULD NOT GET ANYONE AT THE ' SHELTER ' TO ANSWER THE PHONE SO I ACTUALLY CALLED THE ONLY JUDGE IN TOWN AND HAD HIM CALL THE WARDEN TO GET HER RELEASED. THE WARDEN DID NOT WANT TO GET HER TO A VET...HE SAID HE WAS 'TOO BUSY'. SHE WAS HIT BY A CAR AND SUFFERING. I FINALLY GOT THE PHONE # FOR THE CLEANING LADY OF THE ' SHELTER ' AND BEGGED HER TO OPEN THE PLACE UP AND TAKE THIS PUP TO THE VET. SHE RELUCTANTLY DID WHEN I ASSURED HER THERE WAS A VET WAITING TO TAKE HER. THE VET TURNED OUT TO BE A REAL LIFE SAVER FOR MS. LUCKY. SHE SMILED AT HIM AND HE WAS VERY MOVED BY THAT. SHE HAD TO BE NOURISHED BEFORE SHE WAS SPAYED AND HAD THE ONE EYE REMOVED. IT TOOK WELL OVER A MONTH TO FATTEN HER UP. SHE HAD NEVER BEEN HANDLED BY PEOPLE AND SPENT HER WHOLE SHORT LIFE IN THE STREETS. NOW SHE LOVES HUMAN TOUCH AND CONTACT AND AFTER MANY WEEKS GETTING WELL AND BEING FULLY VETTED SHE IS READY FOR A RESCUE. PLEASE CONTACT...asapinrockford@yahoo.com   OR CALL SHEILA @ 815-558-2516. THIS 7 YR. OLD BOY WANDERED THE STREETS OF OHIO BLIND UNTIL SOMEONE BROUGHT HIM TO A FRIEND WHO OWNED A KENNEL AND HE WOUND UP SITTING IN A  CAGE FOR  2 YRS. THE KENNEL OWNER WAS GOING TO HAVE HIM KILLED  BUT  HE WAS MIRACULOUSLY SAVED AND FULLY VETTED BY A PRIVATE DONOR. HE HAS CATARACTS SO PERHAPS SOME DAY HE COULD SEE. IN ANY CASE HE IS A VERY SWEET BOY AND DESERVES A LOVING ENVIORNMENT TO SAY THE VERY LEAST! PLEASE CONTACT SHEILA  asapinrockford@yahoo.com   815-558-2516
