I had my camera at work the other day playing around with it and got an idea to start a thread for shelter images here.  So, get started.  Post your shelter pictures here.

A couple rules apply. 

1)  All images posted here must be taken by the person posting the image.

2)  All images are copyright and soley owned by the photographer.  No one may copy any image from this board.  Anyone caught doing so will be deleted from the group and legal action will be taken.  If you see an image that you may want a copy of, ask the person that posted it if you may copy it or not.

This is one of the newest arrivals, and one who has me by the heartstrings. Joey. Joey was crippled by his breeder. Those feet are the fault of a human trying to doctor when they had no right to do so, and he is that way for life. But look at that face! He's such as sweet guy, I love just snuggling him. BTW, he is NOT a plucker, he is paired with another bird who cares for him... and she plucks him. I'd seperate him from her for his feathers, but she does a better job keeping him safe than anything I could possibly do.

Oh Athena...that hurts my heart.  That is so sad.  It never fails to amaze me what some idiots will do.  What is wrong with people? 

He looks so sweet.  I'm so glad that he is with you now.  I know that you will give him the care and love that he needs.
