The Woodwork angel

The Woodwork Angel Read this and ask yourself, who are the woodwork angels in your life? And how can you be a woodwork angel to others? My teeth screamed. I couldn't neglect them any longer. I finally ignored my fear of dentists and decided to get them fixed. But how? I was a college sophomore and barely supported myself with part-time jobs. Maybe I could fix the worst one. I flipped open the Yellow Pages and called the first dentist within walking distance. The receptionist told me to come right over. As I hurried across the campus, I forgot the pain in worrying about how I would pay the bill. In a few minutes I was in a chair being examined by a dentist who said, "Hmm!"as he surveyed the wreckage of my mouth. "Your teeth are in bad shape." "I already know that,"I snapped, in a smart-aleck way to hide my fear. "But don't worry, I'm going to fix them." "No, you're not. I can't afford to pay you."I started climbing out of the chair. "What are you doing?" "I told you, I have no money." "You're a student at the university, aren't you?" What difference did that make? "Yes..." "You're going to graduate in a few years, aren't you?" "I hope so." "And then you expect to get a job, don't you?" "That's my plan." "Well, then you'll pay me. Meantime, you concentrate on your classes and leave the dentistry to me." I stared at him. He really meant it. He calmly picked up his tools and fixed the aching cavity. From that day on, I saw him every week until my teeth were in good shape. And he kept them that way with regular checkups. After graduation, I got a job and settled his bill in a few months. In the 40 years following, I've learned to call this man a "woodwork angel."These are strangers who appear out of nowhere - out of the woodwork - when I need help. They've lent and given me money, materials or equipment; they've taught me skills and helped me organize groups; sometimes they've rescued me from danger or making a big mistake. So, dentist dear, wherever you are, bless you and thank you again!

a quick response:

I was around 5 or 6, feeling quite abandoned in the world.  The coo of a pigeon from a porch banister seemed to convey a message "you are not alone,  - I am with you."  Children are open to the spirit.  I have this indelibly printed on my heart and that's about 60 years ago. [a woodwork angel if there ever was one! ]

Not an easy one to digest, this story, but

the dynamics are immense....

a cautionary read:

Taking On Tyson Leads With Scary Pigeon Death Story

It was the bloody death of a bird that provoked Mike to throw his first ever punch" says narrator Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire), and we're off to the pigeon races with Taking On Tyson, Animal Planet's new docudrama.

On Episode One, former boxing champion Mike Tyson returns to his childhood home of Brownsville, Brooklyn, where we learn about his tragic pigeon past and that "at the age of 11 an encounter with a sadistic gang member made him a fighter." That after his belt-losing Lennox Lewis fight in 2002, he flew straight home to his coop where he finds comfort and solace (and Sapphire Glow-esque halos). And now he's trying to become a better person by forming a fledgling racing team with three of his oldest friends and a seasoned Racing Homer coach, to compete in the 6-month racing season of Tri-State pigeon clubs in this 6-episode series.

Taking On Tyson airs on Animal Planet, Sunday @ 10PM.

This story isn't for everyone, as the imperfect world

often unfolds with tragedy.  Yet, the pure heart of a young

child understands that the innocent should not be

tortured.  Sounds rather like Angel Communication,... .

Mike Tyson was used by profiteers.  He prefers to be

with his first love now: the pigeons.

God is never wrong

A king who did not believe in the goodness of God, had a slave who, in all circumstances, said: My king, do not be discouraged, because everything God does is perfect, he makes no mistakes!

One day they went hunting and along the way a wild animal attacked the king. His slave managed to kill the animal, but could not prevent his majesty losing a finger.

Furious and without showing his gratitude for being saved, the nobleman said
"Is God good? If He was good, I would not have been attacked and lost my finger."

The slave replied:
"My king, despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good, and he knows "why" of all these things. What God does is perfect. He is never wrong!"

Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his slave.Later, he left for another hunt and was captured by savages who wanted to make him a human sacrifices. At the altar, ready to sacrifice the nobleman, the savages found that the victim did not have one of his fingers,so he was released. According to them, the king was not complete to be offered to the gods.

Upon his return to the palace, he authorized the release of his slave and received him very affectionately.

"My dear, God was really good to me! I was almost killed by the wild men, but for lack of a single finger,

I was let go! But I have a question: if God is so good, why did he allow me to put you in jail?"

"My King, if I had gone with you in this hunt, I would have been sacrificed for you, because I have no missing finger, therefore, remember everything God does is perfect. He is never wrong."

Often we complain about life, and negative things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is random and that everything has a purpose.

Every morning, offer your day to God, don't be in a rush.

Ask God to inspire your thoughts, guide your actions, and ease your feelings.

And do not be afraid. God is never wrong!

You know why this message is for you? I do not know, but God knows, because he never makes mistakes.......

The path of God and his word is perfect, without impurities. He is the way of all those who trust in Him, as he says in 2 Samuel 22: 31

What you do with this message is up to you.

May God put in your heart the desire to send it to someone.

God knows why He choose you to receive this message.

Please bless someone with it.

God is never wrong!!! (Never forget it)

Wonderful Story Ivonne!  So so true.  Only God knows our needs before we do.  In this dramatic story we see just a small fraction of God's Wisdom going before us, and by Faith we are asked to Trust.  It's what we cannot see that is the reason for Faith.  Human beings are limited, God is Unlimited, in LOVE.  Thanks so much for such a very positive message.  It's an easy one to forget,...

the word - and the POSITIVES!

As a young girl I found strength in the stories of the North American Pioneers!  Books seemed to beckon me.  It was through those stories that I found solace.  While the difficulties of their plight may have discouraged some, I found courage.  And so my life has continued - with certain books carrying the messages of angels I'm sure, the messages of hope, peace, charity, and joy!  As the years have 'flown' by, I have learned to trust that the pages of a book can speak to my concerns, it’s as God (thru His Angels) has written them for me, it seems,...   Prayers are answered in mysterious ways,...

In my childhood I read a few books that influenced my future life, as the books of science fiction of Jules Verne and H. G. Wells. But the book that most influenced my professional life was the biography of a great pioneer of electricity through his inventions, Thomas Alva Edison. He was who sparked my interest in electricity.

Edison in 1878

Thomas Alva Edison (February 11, 1847 – October 18, 1931) was an American inventor and businessman . He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the World, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and a long-lasting, practical electric lamp, the  light bulb. Dubbed "The Wizard of Menlo Park" (now Edison, New Jersey) by a newspaper reporter, he was one of the first inventors to apply the principles of mass production and large-scale teamwork to the process of invention, and because of that, he is often credited with the creation of the first industrial Research Laboratory.

Edison is the fourth most prolific inventor in history, holding 1,093 US patents in his name, as well as many patents in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. He is credited with numerous inventions that contributed to mass communication and, in particular, telecommunications. These included a stock ticker, a mechanical vote recorder, a battery for an electric car, electrical power, recorded music and motion pictures.

His advanced work in these fields was an outgrowth of his early career as a telegraph operator. Edison originated the concept and implementation of electric-power generation and distribution to homes, businesses, and factories – a crucial development in the modern industrialized world. His first power station was on Manhattan Island, New York.

Angels wear various garbs

Hi Antonio, Jon, Ioanna, and Ivonne!, and All Positives [ and atoms require negative energy as well, so we love All!    ]   Of course, don't we feel wonderful when our friends appreciate us and provide emotional support, or even just those smiles that make the day go well,... !  Life has taught me that sometimes angels show up in rather un-angelic appearance,.... ~  And it takes a while for me to understand the 'Godly Message' which is given to me as a gift of wisdom and higher love.  It may even takes years, such as decades to decode the meaning in something that on first impression leaves me bewildered or even irritated.  It's only through the dedication which love must pursue that a new flash of insight is eventually gleaned.  Angels can surprise us as well as comfort.  We are quite adaptable beings, and God knows our capabilities to comprehend those things which puzzle us- yet pull us to HIM!

I tried to comment here but it vanished for some reason. will try again tomorrow. Hugs Everyone....!

Bravo Dot and well said. Sometime we are given Visions (dreams) of what will be in our future ahead but want realize the Vision until we find ourselves acting out the Vision in real life and like you said, it may be days, months or even years before that Vision (dream) comes to life and unfolds. You only know the begining but not the end. If we knew the whole Vision (Dream) we would know how to control what may happen before it does. But the will of God always leads us in the right path. Sometimes our paths are like the season as they come and go, each being different as if we are Angels on a mission or missions. When God talks to your heart, your heart will lead you.

teehee, Ioanna~  all of life seems to yell at us sometimes!!!  PC(s) are in their infancy,... and someday they ought to work much better than they operate now.  It seems the more we have, the more we want->  But, that just keeps us improving things.  I'm fortunate to use the computer at work and they keep it running pretty well, but I often wonder how dependable a home PC would be, and just how exasperated I'd become if it 'jammed up' when I wanted to 'GO!'  Parrots learn to swear when people do so in earshot.  I wonder if computers are getting some cultural language lessons - the 'PO'd' kind of words!!!    I wish you Good Luck today Ioanna with your tech toy. * and Jon too!

{and thanks, Ioanna, for every kindness that you share thru the PC when it's working!!!} Angel*

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest planet in the Solar System, after Jupiter. Saturn is named after the Roman god Saturn, equated to the Greek Cronus (the Titan father of Zeus), the Babylonian Ninurta and the Hindu Shani. Saturn's symbol represents the Roman god's sickle.

Saturn, along with Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, is classified as a gas giant. Together, these four planets are sometimes referred to as the Jovian, meaning "Jupiter-like", planets. Saturn has an average radius about 9 times larger than the Earth's. While only 1/8 the average density of Earth, due to its larger volume, Saturn's mass is just over 95 times greater than Earth's.

Because of Saturn's large mass and resulting gravitation, the conditions produced on Saturn are extreme if compared to Earth. The interior of Saturn is probably composed of a core of iron, nickel, silicon and oxygen compounds, surrounded by a deep layer of metallic hydrogen, an intermediate layer of liquid hydrogen and liquid helium and finally, an outer gaseous layer.

Electrical current within the metallic-hydrogen layer is thought to give rise to Saturn's planetary magnetic field, which is slightly weaker than Earth's magnetic field and approximately one-twentieth the strength of the field around Jupiter.

The outer atmosphere is generally bland in appearance, although long-lived features can appear. Wind speeds on Saturn can reach 1,800 km/h, significantly faster than those on Jupiter.

Saturn has nine rings, consisting mostly of ice particles with a smaller amount of rocky debris and dust. Sixty-two known moons orbit the planet; fifty-three are officially named. This is not counting hundreds of "moonlets" within the rings. Titan, Saturn's largest and the Solar System's second largest moon (after Jupiter's Ganymede), is larger than the planet Mercury and is the only moon in the Solar System to possess a significant atmosphere.

Saturn in Your Sign

Saturn in your sign brings challenges and learning lessons - a good time for growth and to face issues by choice or because they must be confronted. Saturn transits and cycles can be considered cycles of achievement and maturity. When Saturn forms a hard aspect to a personal point in our chart, we might feel that everything is slowed down--we encounter delays, frustrations, and pressures. But these times also challenge us to face reality, thereby opening ourselves up to increased wisdom and the freedom that comes with living in truth.

Angelic Science.

The ID advocates seek to turn back the clock to pre-Newtonian times, when magic, mysticism, religion and science were all jumbled together. If there's something we don't understand, postulate a supernatural explanation. So why not revive angels as part of science? In theology it was never quite clear why God made angels, what their purpose was, or even how many there are. Perhaps God created them to perform the day-to-day operations of the universe, freeing up his time to do other creative things.

So why does a body fall? Science doesn't tell us. Science only describes "how" it falls, and gives us equations describing how it falls. Other equations relate the fall of the apple to the fall of the moon as it orbits the earth, and even to the motions of stars and galaxies and everything else in the universe. But is this an explanation? No, it is only a description. So, since one explanation is as good as any other, so long as it "accounts for the facts", let's explain all of science using angels as the fundamental concept.

A quantum-mechanic angel at work. © 1987 by John Holden.

Angels are very tiny, and undetectable with any instrument we might devise. Space is filled with them. There's a quantum sea of angels everywhere in the universe, in every nook and cranny. Why does a body fall? Simple. Angels pass it from one to another like a fireman's bucket brigade. They do this in strict accordance to the "Angelic Operations Manual", written by the hand of God, in which angelic procedures are carried out precisely so that everything that happens in the universe "goes by the book". Therefore everything conforms to the equations found in physics books—equations that scientists imagined they discovered. Once in a while a directive comes down from on high that certain procedures are to be suspended or modified when a miracle is required, but mostly things run like clockwork.

In this manner everything from cosmic to subatomic becomes explainable in terms even non-scientists can appreciate. Soon we will teach the quantum theory of angels in universities. Physicists' "strings and superstrings" will be seen to be nothing but clusters of angels acting in harmony—celestial harmony, of course. The speed of light will be understood as the limiting speed in the universe simply because it is related to the natural reaction time of angels.

His Name Was Bill
His name is Bill. He has wild hair, wears a T-shirt with holes in it, jeans and no shoes. This was literally is wardrobe for his entire four years of college. He is brilliant. Kind of esoteric and very, very bright. He became a Christian recently while attending college.

Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. One day Bill decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and So Bill starts down the aisle looking for a seat.

The church is completely packed and he can't find a seat. By now people are really looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says anything. Bill gets closer and closer and closer to the pulpit and, when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet. (Although perfectly acceptable behavior at a college fellowship, trust me, this had never happened in this church before!

By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick. About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the back of the church, an Elder is slowly making his way toward Bill. Now the Elder is in his eighties, has silver-gray hair, and a three-piece suit. A godly man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks with a cane and, as he starts walking toward this boy, everyone is saying To themselves that you can't blame him for what he's going to do.

How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor? It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy. The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man's cane.

All eyes are focused on him. You can't even hear anyone breathing. The minister can't even preach the sermon until the Elder does what he has to do. And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the floor. With great difficulty he lowers himself and sits down next to Bill and worships with him so he won't be alone.

Everyone chokes up with emotion. When the minister gains control, he says, "What I'm about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget. Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some people will ever read."

Dear Ivonne, this is a wonderful Friday story of how God's Miracles are happening every day!  The minister's words are beautiful~  I hope everyone in the church pews felt the transformation of this blessing*  Certainly, your digital ADD resonates with the Positives!  Thank you so much for this story of true 'religion' and eloquent humanity - alive and very well!
