talks about a museum that opened up in July of this year.
It is called the Sheets Wildlife Museum. And want to know how many animals are in this museum that he has murdered for the fun of it to put on display?
97 animals and 87 types of fish. In this article the founder Summer Sheets tries to say he loves animals but he just loves to murder them. And Teresa Daniels, the museum director thinks it's great that kids can see murdered animals from hunting and thinks it's ok.
One of the most disturbing parts is that this newspaper was promoting this horrible museum and it's owner in this article as well.
And tell why you think that this is horrible and that animals should not be murdered for the entertainment of people and placed in musuems. And that this didn't not have to be promoted in this newspaper.

A family in West Virginia that has four Wolf Dog crosses will urgently be needing a new home. The people are moving and cannot take them to their new home in the city limits.
There are three Wolf Dogs that can be kept together in the same enclosure. Cheyenne is a six year old female. Poncho is a five year old male and Cherokee is a three year old male. There is one more Wolf Dog Cross, named Chinook. Chinook is a two year old male. He was bottled fed by the family and the others will not accept him back into the pack, so he will need a separate enclosure. Chinook has been trained to walk on a leash.
This Wolf Dog pack has been fed a combination of dog food and raw chicken in the summer. During the winter months they are fed road kill and hunter donated deer.
If you are interested in these Wolf Dog Crosses, please email your name, address and telephone number to Wolf Howl's email address. I will then forward it on to the guardians and they will contact you. Be sure to check out your state laws regarding codes pertaining to Wolf Dogs. You will also need to have proper containment, which may be very costly. Educate yourself on Wolf Dog ownership before you decide to inquire about these animals. They will need a safe home with experienced guardians.

These pups are F3, possibly F4, mid to high content wolfdogs (60-70% wolf). They are unsocial and are in URGENT need of adoption (they need to be adopted by May 27). They will be adopted separately, and they need owners with a lot of time on their hands to help socialize and raise them properly. They are neutered and UTD on shots.
For more information or to apply for adoption, please contact wolfmommy@bellsouth.net
Jake is good with children and adults but is wary at first. He is also good with other dogs but likes to be the dominant one. He is trained but is slightly aggressive over food and toys with people he doesn't know. He must go to a home without babies and when with children, he must be supervised at all times (he likes to try establishing pack order over them) and he must not have toys or food around them. Jake is sweet and intelligent and he must find a new home SOON. He is neutered.
For more information or to apply for adoption, please contact wolfmoonlight@swfla.rr.com
Scooby is in URGENT need of rescue. He howls all day and law enforcement has told his owner that Scooby must go. Scooby is not good with small animals, not house broken, and should go to a home with adults only. He is ok on a leash, but shy with strangers and he will need proper containment. Scooby is neutered and UTD on shots.
For more information or to apply for adoption, please contact thegreywolf@tds.net
This high content female (reported 98% wolf) is social to women, but not men. She may bite if frightened or mishandled, so she must go only to an experienced home. She is being kept behind a 6' fence with her male companion where she has lived her entire life (she has never had any experience with houses, cars, leashes, other dogs, etc). She can be adopted together with her male companion, or separately. She will be spayed prior to adoption.

He can be adopted together with his female companion, or separately. He will be neutered prior to adoption.

Starsky
Sex: Male
Age: 4 years
Location: TN
This rescue is URGENT. Starsky is very quick to learn, and he is extremely food-motivated. He likes to take walks on a leash and he knows the commands "sit" and "down," and he will "stay" for short periods of time until his attention takes him elsewhere. He is high energy, but low maintenance. As long as he can make a couple passes around the back yard, he is more than content to just come back inside. Starsky came to the shelter with a deformed paw--most likely from a previous injury--but he has had surgery and is recovering nicely. Starsky is house-trained and good with older children. Starsky gets along with all other dogs, but cats are not recommended. He is neutered and UTD on shots.
For more information or to apply for adoption, please contact lupusmaximus@adelphia.net
These low content wolfdogs were part of a seizure in Lake County, FL. They are in URGENT need of rescue or foster. All will be spayed/neutered before adoption.
Andy and Leggs - Andy is a male, and is approximately 4 years old. He and Leggs are a bonded pair, but it is hoped that he will be able to be adopted separately, as Leggs has an aggressive personality and most likely will not be placed. Andy is very timid but will allow himself to be touched without showing any aggression. He is mostly a mix of Malamute.
Angel Face - Female, older in age. Angel Face may or may not be coming up for adoption. She is showing some signs of aggression, although she was supposed to be good with her previous owner.
Cloud - (being fostered in CA) Female, age unknown. Cloud is very timid and submissive, and she will need an experienced owner. She will need a quiet home with lots of patience and love. She did not fear bite and did allow herself to be touched. Cloud is mostly a mix of malamute.
Large Malamute - Male, 5-6 years old. This large Malamute is very friendly and outgoing. He is energetic and loves to play, but is a bit mouthy about it.
Murphy - Male, 18 months old. Murphy is somewhat timid when meeting new people, but only for a little while. He will need some socialization and he has never been around children. He is very intelligent and will need someone willing to work with him and challenge his mind. Murphy is energetic and loves to play. He is currently being contained with field fencing and he has not challenged it. He digs to stay cool, but he has not tried to dig out. It is reported, however, that Murphy is not good with other dogs. He is mostly a mix of Belgian Malinois.
Miracle - Female, 8-9 years old. Miracle is very interested in people and tries to interact, but is overwhelmed by her current companion who demands all the attention. Miracle would do best in a quiet home where she can live out her life with lots of love and not be bowled over by other dogs.
Promise - Female, 1-2 years old. Promise is friendly, interested in people, and displayed no aggression when touched. She could use a quiet home, although she is a little more outgoing and should come around quickly.
Shilo - (being fostered in CA) Male, 6-7 years old. Shilo is very submissive, and may have some hip problems. He is very people oriented.
Smokey - Female, 2-4 years old. She is spooked easily but did approach to sniff the AC officer's hands while in the kennel. She did not fear bite when touched, and she is submissive. She will need an experienced owner.
Pup #1 - Male, 3 months old. He is a shy and will need some socializing. He weighs about 10-15 lbs.
Pup #2 - Female, 3 months old, this girl is estimated to be about 20 lbs. She is more outgoing than pup #1.
Pup #3 - Male, 3 months old. He enjoys attention and is smaller than pup #2 but larger than pup #1.
Pup #4 - Male, 3 months old. This boy is shy and about 20 lbs.
Pup #5 - Female, 3 months old. She enjoys being held and is about 10 lbs.
Pup #6 - Male, 3 months old. Shy, and weighs about 20 lbs.

Cheyenne and Lobo are brother/sister and must be adopted out together. They were victims of severe neglect. Cheyenne has great a temperament but is more shy than Lobo when around new people. She does well with other animals only if they aren't dominant. Secure containment is necessary as Cheyenne can scale a 6 ft chain link fence. Lobo has a wonderful temperament, is sweet, loving, and likes other animals. Neither Cheyenne nor Lobo has shown any propensity for digging. They are spayed/neutered and UTD on shots.

Lakota needs urgent adoption May 27, 2005 12:33 PM
Lakota
Sex: Male
Age: Young
Location: PA
This rescue is URGENT. Lakota is social and does well with other dogs, although he can be a bit rough with small dogs/cats. He needs a stable home with a large, escape-proof enclosure (lean-ins, dig guard and hot wire). He howls at night out of loneliness, so a companion animal might be needed for him. He is neutered.

statment from blackwolf rescue May 21, 2005 7:37 AM
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Black Wolf Rescue is no longer running. We no longer have animals or take in rescues. We did apply for the 501 (c) 3 status and to-date we have not heard back from the IRS. We were told by the IRS when we applied for our EIN that we could state we had "Temporary Status" and that is what we said. All the donations for the Rescue went to the rescue, inspite of what was said.
The contributor's receipt that was sent to everyone who donated monies to us, stated this fact. We will therefore have to pay taxes on any donations that were received by us, and each person who did dontate will be notified of such.If you want your donations returned, please feel free to contact us via email or write to us at the Mailing address:
Black Wolf Rescue P.O.Box 164 Triangle,Va. 22172-0164 wolfhandbook1@aol.com
We will respond promply to you. Include your address and a copy of the donation you made to us. We regret any inconvience this caused anyone. Thank you for your past support.

RE: Robert Clifton Artois
Dear Sir:
I am writing regarding the case against Robert Clifton Artois, founder of the Black Wolf Rescue Center in Triangle who faces 28 counts of animal cruelty.
This man kept dogs and wolves in inhumane conditions, in small cages and without food and water, which is cruelty in the extreme.
I request that if convicted he receive the maximum sentence and be required to undergo psychological testing and counseling. He should also be banned from keeping animals ever again in the future.
Anyone who abuses animals should not be allowed to have animals in their care, as the risk to defenceless animals would be too great.
I believe that animal cruelty should be regarded as a serious offence. Animals in captivity are very vulnerable and there are countless cases of cruelty against them.
Animals need the protection of the law and I ask you to try to get this man the most severe sentence possible. A sentence should reflect the seriousness of a crime and this crime of extreme cruelty to animals, causing living torture and to some, death, could hardly be more serious in its effect upon living creatures whose feelings and needs are identical to our own. It is a pity that the law does not yet view the suffering of animals as seriously as that of humans, even though it is exactly the same.
I also request that the wolves and wolf dogs you have in custody be released upon the conclusion of the proceedings to a sanctuary to live out their lives being fed, loved and well cared for. I have heard that you may possibly dispose of them? Do not do this. If you will contact danna@wolfmountain.com and she will begin placement possibilities unless you have sanctuaries already lined up.
I hope that you will understand the strength of feeling about such a case on the part of animal lovers.
I thank you for your kind attention.
Yours faithfully

The lawyer of Artois is:
Timothy A. Ward, Esquire, his phone number is 703-331-2080 and his email is tward@ours-ward-law.com . You can send him a letter too if you want complain about his client.
----- If you call the DA you need to ask them what they intend to do with the wolves. We want the wolves to go to another sanctuary and need to start arranging that now.
We want Artois to get the full 29 years. That is 1 year per one case of abuse.
We want him to never be allowed to own or oversea another animal ever!!!
This is an urgent matter at this goes to court on June 1. Evidently there is a criminal case and a civil case.
Please take action today and send to all your network, friends, family group, etc.

He added that the dogs are not only victims, but also evidence in the ongoing criminal investigation.
"Some of them are probably not adoptable -- we're talking about the wolf hybrids," Newsome said. "We have to make sure they are stabilized. … Dogs kept in this kind of situation can be very unpredictable."
Case Updates Posted: May 4, 2005 - 7:08 AM
Robert Artois, self-proclaimed wolf-dog expert and founder of Black Wolf Rescue, has been charged with 28 counts of animal cruelty, a Class 1 misdemeanor.
On April 18, a search warrant was issued for Robert Clifton Artois, 57, of Triangle, Va., said First Sgt. Kim Chinn, a spokeswoman for the Prince William Police Department.
Chinn said, "Animal control received information that there were several dogs at this residence that were not well cared for and they did find 28 live dogs and one carcass of a dog at this location. They all had inadequate water, food, sanitary habitat and veterinary care.
"All dogs were seized and are currently being held at the Prince William County Animal Control Bureau Shelter," Chinn went on. "They have received veterinary care. They were evaluated immediately and then evaluated again after the immediate check for further down-the-line kind of problems that they might anticipate. We're taking care of parasite problems and all kinds of things like that."
Artois' next court date is June 1. He is being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center.

Case Report
The founder of Black Wolf Rescue shelter in Triangle was charged with 28 counts of animal cruelty on Tuesday, April 26.
Robert Clifton Artois, 56, was arrested, Prince William Police Master Detective Samson Newsome said.
Additional charges may be pending. Authorities are awaiting the results of a necropsy, or animal autopsy, performed on a dog found dead at Artois' home, said Newsome, head of the Prince William County Animal Shelter.
Animal control officers entered Artois' home and shelter after receiving a complaint of abandoned dogs April 18, according to documents filed with Prince William General District Court. The complainant told authorities that Artois was incarcerated in the Alexandria City Jail and had asked her to care for the animals until he was released.
Artois was held at the Alexandria City Jail for six days for contempt of court in a civil case, according to Alexandria City Jail records. He was released April 19.
The complainant told animal control authorities that there was a strong smell of animal urine and feces coming from the house and a large rodent problem was apparent inside, according to court documents.
Inside the house, surrounded by three acres on a hill, animal control officers discovered 25 dogs and wolves. Most of the dogs were locked inside crates and standing in their own waste, according to court documents. Four more dogs were found with no food or water in crates in a shed. One of the four was dead.
"They were not in the best condition. It warranted immediate attention and removal," Newsome said. "The way they [the animal control officers] went in and the compassion I saw from them in handling these animals was amazing. The conditions were extremely harsh and unfavorable."
The animals were taken to the county shelter, where a veterinarian was standing by to treat them, Newsome said. The dogs had a variety of medical problems, including skin ailments from their backs rubbing against crates that were too small, according to Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Sandra R. Sylvester.
According to court documents, 13 of the 28 dogs were wolves or wolf hybrids. The remaining dogs included German shepherds, cocker spaniels, a black Lab and a Jack Russell terrier.
One of the dogs died at the shelter, and another gave birth to a litter of puppies Friday. The county shelter didn't have room for so many animals, but Newsome was able to make arrangements for some of the shelter's adoptable animals to go to shelters in Manassas City and Fauquier, Fairfax and Loudoun counties to make room for the new arrivals.
"The conditions weren't fit for man or animal," said Sylvester, who accompanied the officers April 18 when they seized the dogs and took them to the shelter. "It broke my heart. I'm an animal lover."
This isn't Artois' first contact with animal control officers. Artois was charged with one count of cruelty to animals in November 2004. The summons filed with Prince William General District Court noted unsanitary conditions, not providing adequate food, water or living space, but gave no other details. Artois is scheduled for a June court date in that case.
The Black Wolf Rescue was licensed by both the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the county. The rescue was still licensed with the USDA last week. An official at the USDA's Animal Care Eastern Region office in Raleigh, N.C., wouldn't release the status of Artois' license or any additional information over the phone. Prince William County had issued Artois a kennel license for up to 12 dogs, Newsome said. He declined to comment on the status of Artois' county license.
According to its Web site, the shelter was "dedicated to the rescue and survival of abused and abandoned captive born wolves. Black Wolf Rescue saves the lives of wolves and wolf dogs in the Northern Virginia area."
The site also describes the rescue's ambassador program, which provided education about wolves and wolf hybrids. For several months, Artois showed his wolves at the Dale City Petco on Sundays, Petco manager Tony Fuentes said. A few times Artois offered Lab dogs for adoption, Fuentes recalled. Artois stopped coming about eight months ago.
In addition to providing photos and information about Artois' wolves or wolf hybrids, the site solicited donations for the shelter. But that wasn't Artois' only dealings on the Internet.
In 2003, Artois was convicted of two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He met a 15-year-old boy on the Internet, according to documents filed with Prince William Circuit Court. Artois was sentenced to a suspended 24-month jail sentence, based upon successful completion of two years' probation, according to Circuit Court records. Since Artois was still on probation when he was charged with animal cruelty, he could face probation violation proceedings if convicted, Newsome said.
Artois also had convictions for contributing to the delinquency of a minor in 1997 and felony larceny in 1983 in Fairfax County, according to a criminal record filed with Prince William Circuit Court.
Artois will be arraigned today on the animal abuse charges, Newsome said. Artois is also scheduled to appear in court Thursday on a petition seeking to transfer the dogs' ownership to animal control authorities. Without the court order, the dogs and wolves can only be kept at the shelter for 10 days. A General District Court judge will hear the petition and determine if the dogs are to be returned to Artois or if the shelter can assess them for adoption, Newsome said.

I have been contacted by Never Cry Wolf and they are being ordered to find new homes for 3 wolves due to them being over their count. We are at our limit also and we need to find these babies a place or they will be killed. Please forward this to all your wolf contacts. Look how beautiful they are, everyone, please take action on this... We can save them...

You probably get many many calls from people wanting to surrender their wolf/hybrids or wolves over to you. I have a very unusually situation. I volunteered for Never Cry Wolf Rescue in Sacramento and recently they have been cited for too many wolves and have been ordered to get rid of wolves... There are three very special wolves that can not be adopted out they are 100% grey wolves and were rescued from a couple in Oregon. These wolves came to NCWRA and if a placement can not be found for them the rescue is going to put them down. I was hoping you might be interested in taking on three more wolves. Badger the lighter wolf is very friendly with people and has no problems. She is spayed and has no other wolf to partner with and would love a companion. I saw where Tamaka is in need of a companion. As you can see Badger means alot to me and I'll do everything I can to get her placed instead of being put down.
The two blacks (Lady Hawk and Blackhawk ) are a pair and stay together. Black hawk is a sweetie, but tends to stay back a ways because of direction of Lady Hawk....Lady Hawk tends to keep her distance a little and can be friendly but prefers just to stick her nose into things out of curiosity and not really want to be touched by humans. Which is understandable.
I could go on and on about these animals, but thought I would send you photos instead. If there is a slim chance you might be interested please let me know. If not, I totally understand! Thank you in advance for reading this message....
