How to post pictures in your posting April 21, 2005 11:13 PM

How to post pictures...It's easy!

1. First follow the Care2 instructions and upload the picture to your photo album.

2. Go to your album and click on the picture you uploaded, get it to the size you want. (Click twice for the big picture or once for the small one.)

NOTE: PLEASE AVOID POSTING LARGE PHOTOS IN MESSAGE!

3. Right click on the picture. (A screen will pop-up)

4. Click on Properties (usually right at the bottom). - copy the Address (URL)

It will look something like this: (http://dingo.care2.com/pictures/c2c/galleries/cache/derivative/2/2/2242208.jpg) After copied, Hit Cancel.

6. Now go to make your posting and begin your message.

7. In the top right hand corner is a smiley face.  Next to it is the Insert Image Icon that looks like a picture frame with a mountain peak.

9. Click on the Frame and a box pops up.
For Image URL paste your (http://dingo...etc).
Type text for picture in Alternate Text.
For Alignment select Right.

10. Preview and Submit

There are places on the internet to host images (besides the Care2 way) and a good one is PhotoBucket.  You just upload your image from your computer to PhotoBucket and copy/paste the URL code they provide for it.

If you ever delete the image from PhotoBucket, the place you posted it to will be a broken link.
