Topic: Explanation of Christ (2 part/strophe) 

The 2 part/strophe of The Great Invocation "says":

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

Perhaps someone say something like: "Christ and you say that The Great Invocation doesn't belong to any religion... that prives that this thing is a lie clearly."
Which religion waits for christ to return? The Christian religion... so there is no doubt... The Great Invocation belongs to the Christian religion.

Yes... and No. Nearly all religions are waiting the return of his/her "leader" (called Christ, Maitreya, The Messiah,...) If we put "all" the names in The Great Invocation The Great Invocation will be very long and some names will be "difficult" to say for us so...

if The Great Invocation is very long is difficult to learn it and one thing that is long (difficult to learn) and have some names will be "difficult" to say for us probably nearly anybody want to say often that thing. And as much as we "say" (or think consciously, that is thinking that the thing we ask for in The Great Invocation will be a reality) The Great Invocation better results.

The Arcane School/Lucis Trust has recently (within the past few years) put out a revised version of the Great Invocation for just the reasons you cite. It's not a Christian "prayer", it's a mantra for the world, and, as you say, Christ is merely a title for the World Teacher, Who is known by many other names. In the revised version, He is referred to as the Coming One.
