New Year Resolutions!
I'm going to dedicate myself to random acts of kindness this year! Obviously, I have other resolutions (the usuals: save some money, lose some weight, save the world, etc.) but I'm going to try to make the theme of this group the theme for my year! I'm going to start keeping a journal of all the fun I have adhering to the golden rule. It seems like it will be a lot of fun to look back on this time next year! And I bet it'll make every day more fun too!

My first ever (as an adult) New Year Resolution, which I guess is a deliberate act of kindness, is to GO GREEN in as many ways I am able to We started early by not "doing Christmas" ... the only gift I bought was 5 reusable shopping bags (which I love) ... and it feels good

We didn't "do" Christmas either...because we were pretty broke! But that's okay. We visited family and had a lot of fun. And there aren't any "what was she thinking?" gifts to return! I pride myself on being a good gift giver...if I can't give a really good, meaningful one, I don't give one at all. And thank goodness for e-cards! Not only do they get there on time, but they don't create trash for the new year to bear!

I have a list of resolutions, especially going green and do good in school. I will dedicate myself getting good grades, because I am close to a 3.0 GPA, and I am graduating from high school this year.

I also want to volunteer this year before I enter college, but I don't know what to do! And about going green, I have to be serious about that because I want to make the world a better place.

Well, how is everyone's new year's resolutions going?  Mine have fallen short, way short, but, still going to succeed.  I hope everyone keeps positive and upbeat cause there's a lot of the year left to make up for.  My new year's resolutions: 1) be a regular 'click to donate', 2)hit the 'free rice', 3)make time for my nephew, 4)spend more time with my folks and make life as easy for them as I can as they have earned that, plus more;  AND 5) do more for the causes.    Yes, I know.... i need to lose weight, spend less time wasted and more quality time used, be nice to everyone, do my part recycling, and becoming green.  AH... bring it on.  I've got 330 days left in this year to get it accomplished.   Have great week ahead.

Encouragement/Support To Reclaim The Power That Is Yours

§ When you feel stuck it's time to change something in your life!

§ When your habitual daily patterns grind you into the ground, you just need to shift some energy in order to get yourself going again!

§ Everything changes & so can you: you always need to move with this energy!

§ Small changes start a new process as different possibilities emerge on your horizon!

§ You can change your life!

§ Break a habit & see where this leads you!

§ Re-invent yourself. Dare to be different & climb out of those treacle boots!

§ Change is like a breath of fresh air. Enjoy the new perspectives that it brings!

§ Only your limiting self-beliefs stand in your way. Change them & change your life forever!

Last year I'd hoped to have all my college courses complete sooo, it's now this year's resolution Kids have gotten so big. Soon I'll be planning their college--sigh. Absolutely more paying it forward! Glad I didn't try to do gifts or trees this year--much better that way. Ecards are the best!

NOPE !!!  No resolutions, I am too old for that.  BUT I am going to try to keep my kitchen table cleared off!  No junk mail, no old bills to get lost for a month....

Great reason to take a stab at junk mail! Check out http://www.greendimes.com to help you out! It certainly cut back on the amount of junk mail I get!!
