Problems and abuse reporting - Do not respond to abusive posts or otherwise engage in the furthering of inappropriate topics and posts.
If you encounter a member that is abusing our system, report them directly using the 'Flag' tool so that appropriate action can be taken. You can also report any such abuse to email@example.com via email.
The above is straight from Care2 rules. To "flag" a person, go to their profile by clicking on their name. Once you are at their profile, click on the "flag this person" icon.
This will open a window where you can report the abuse directly to Care2. Talk about where and how the abuse is taking place. Care2 will take care of it. People who are consistently abusive eventually get removed from the Care2 system.
Send a copy of the Hate email or network messages to:
It is also a good idea to flag the profile of a person who is spouting hatred, by going to their profile by clicking on their name, and then going to the flag profile link. The rest is just click and fill in the blanks.
There are four reasons why a post might be deleted:
1. The post is duplicated, or by request.
2. A new thread topic has already been posted by someone else
3. The post is archived and the action is no longer valid
4. The post is being moved to a more appropriate thread
1. If a post is posted twice, one right after another, one of them will be deleted to save space and organize the discussion board. If a post is duplicated by being put in two separate threads, one might be deleted, again for the same reason as above. In some cases members request that a post they put on board be deleted and co-host or host will oblige.
2. If a new thread is started, but the topic thread already exists somewhere else, the new thread might be deleted along with the post. If this is the case, the deleted message will be moved to the appropriate thread.
3. If a thread has archived, it might be deleted unless it adds something to the discussion board that is worth saving. Again this is on a case by case basis. Blue and red flagged threads do not archive, so what is in those threads stays there. If you want to create a blue thread, follow the format that you see there.
4. Posts may be deleted from a thread where it is inappropriate for that particular post. Again, the objective is to keep the discussion board organized. A copy of that post will be moved to another more appropriate thread. For example, a thanks message in the Inner Peace Thread will be moved into the Thanks thread. A rant found in the Jokes thread will be moved into the Rant thread. In extreme cases, a hate or porn message might be moved, or it might be deleted completely and reported to Care2, (see Care2 rules) but this is up to the co-hosts.
In all cases, when co-hosts or host are deleting a message they will do their best to notify that group member of the reason for a deletion and where the post or message is, if it was saved. Network messaging is not perfect and does not always work, so please excuse the imperfect means of communicating with group members about this sensitive subject.
Spread the peace,
Members that have profiles which do not have a visible person are not allowed in this group.
Fake profiles with a name that attacks, puts down or insults another person or race or religion will be deleted from this group.
Fake profiles with no real name of a person and few or no friends will also be subject to deletion for violating rules here much faster than members who have real names, a contact address, real pictures of family and freinds, lots of Care2 friends, etc.
Trolls, Psyops operatives, and bullies seem to take great joy in attacking others personally. They generally like fake profiles, use no real names, use multiple IDs, and generally do not have many friends, although there are exceptions.
The above types of profiles will be dealt with much faster and more severely by hosts than members who are just ordinary people doing their best, but making a mistake once a while.
Hosts reserve the right to delete members or block members from this group for one violation of rules and with no warning in an effort to keep this group peaceful and safe for all opinions and for promoting free speech discussions free of personal attacks.
Eric you are absolutely correct and thanks for saying this. While I have not seen any such psychopathy on this list, it can happen anywhere.
Yes, these are the same types of psychopaths that are destroying businesses, NPO's and governments.
Would that something could be done with them.
I wonder if this psychopathy is preventable?
It's human nature to be angry, belligerent, and aggressive, towards one another.
"Peace" is like playing a violin...
It takes a lot of practice, thought, and emotional "self control"
And BTW, we as humans are NOT inherintly conflict oriented as someone else stated. That is learned behavior.

Thanks for sharing. I agree that what we fear, we attract. On the other hand, what we ignore or deny, we can promote through unconscious means. How does this work?
Before this group had these rules, we had a number of what I will call 'incidents' that were not peaceful. After these rules were implemented by community vote by the way, we have had 0 incidents, so the prediction made above has not come to pass.
All spiritual paths have rules to follow... Even Jesus, Gandhi, and other peace leaders laid out basic ground rules. At least a few people need outer rules.
As an example; would you let all convicted SERIAL murderers, rapists and robbers out of jail and loose them on society, as part of the no rules, no laws, no consequences theory? I would not... especially not without rehabilitation and proof of rehab in a safe setting.
If someone is still in favor of this, I would urge you to volunteer to go to prisons and work with some of these folks and see if they can be turned into positive citizens. Stay overnight in their cell with them... get to know them really well. Then report back here and let us know how it works. We will be glad to share the good news far and wide.
In my opinion, for whatever it is worth, once we are all self realized, we can and WILL do away with all rules, jails, laws and written agreements everywhere, as they will not be needed any longer.
Until that point is reached, outer rules and frameworks and police as well as jails will still be needed.
Hopefully, that PEACE filled inner realization dawning for all of humanity will come sooner than later. This thread will be deleted and this group may even disappear on that day, as the inner knowing and direct access to Source will be there.
On the other hand, peace classes and information may assume an even greater importance, and this group may become MUCH MORE popular.
Most if not all of the 'rules' above are actually Care2 rules, so anyone not liking them may also be opposing the structure that Care2 set up, but does not enforce very well.
Fear is sometimes healthy. If I get too close to a cliff or drive too fast for conditions, the car or nearly running over a kid due to excessive speed, I SHOULD feel fear NATURALLY, but that does not attract death to me, it saves me from it.
If I do not feel any fear when doing public speaking, diving out of airplanes or when in dangerous situations, there is probably something wrong. There are exceptions to just about every rule.
Fear in appropriate situations is a NATURAL emotion. It comes and goes. It should flow, as all emotions should. Some people get stuck in certain emotions or cannot feel anything other than anger, which is layered on top of fear, hidden deep underneath. We can express emotions in a healthy, or unhealthy manner.
Regarding 'inaction'; could one definition of that consist of being still, quiet and peaceful? It is not necessary to actively talk, argue or get into conflicts to achieve peace. Peace is inside. Peace starts inside, not outside. I do not measure or judge the value of a group by the 'activity'. I certainly do not judge the activity of this groups members or the lack of it.
For example, if I join a meditation group, and everyone is jumping around and talking, but not doing any meditation, I would leave. I am there to be quiet, introspective and learn something about myself and my relationship to God. I am there to experience peace, and delta brainwaves, not alpha brain wave stuff. Why are you here? What is your goal?
Lots of groups here and elsewhere have huge amounts of 'activity', with NO RULES, and NO LIMITS, but I do not go there, for my own reasons.
We all make free will choices on where to go. What can you CONTRIBUTE here for others benefit? How can you add to what is already here, and improve on it?
If you feel you have something to share about peace, share it. If you want to start a thread about abolishing all rules in general, (not just this groups rules) by all means, start one... I do not think that has been done yet and it is definitely a great idea... thanks for bringing it up. However, this is not really the best thread for getting into that.
This thread is for rules of conduct in this group. We are already getting out of that framework. Debate on whether to have these rules is best done in another thread.
I am closing this thread for that reason. Feel free to start a fresh thread about whatever is desired around rules... laws, etc.
