Boycotts are more effective if you let the company know they are being targetted and why. If possible send them an email and post a copy of the email (including the address you sent it to unless it is 'private'). Or describe any phone calls. Also, invite them to put forward their side of the story - send them a link to the home page of this group. All companies mentioned here are invited to join up and defend themselves, but I would prefer it if people associated with a company identified themselves as such and posted links instead of copying a lot of stuff here.

I sent a letter to Volvo letting them know that I thought their cars were just too ugly to be on the road. Honestly, I just don't get what the point of them is. They aren't fast, they look ungraceful, there is no single thing that another car doesn't do better. I just won't buy one. That's basically what I told them.

Wow Jeffrey, you're quite the activist these days Would you consider writing to your local and state reps and asking them to help make the urban enviroinment more aesthetically pleasing?

Here's a way to contact Proctor and Gamble. The contact us link is on the left at the top of the list of links. Unfortunately they won't give out an email address, and we have no way of knowing if complaints are binned automatically.
