Think that will rise into a war? Sounds pretty serious.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

China is known for not being agressive in a nationalistic sense, so I don't see a war coming. They place is known for violent internal 'revolutions' which often include the killing (and occasionally eating) of the various figures of authority.  [ send green star]
Chinese boycotting Japan April 16, 2005 7:34 PM

Hi Guys,

I must say that after looking at the artical i was alarmed to see a chinese man carrying a kill Japanese poster.  As i Live in Australia and it is part of ASIA (SE) I've been tracking this for some days now on our independent broardcaster (  There are a couple of things that i would like to point out about this upheaval:

China is currently pushing throught legislation to annex Tiawan as part of mainland China (lets just think of Tibet here)

Japan and Taiwan are allies and have many trade and other agreements.  They also support an independent Taiwan.

America and Japan have many agreements and and america uses not only japan but also Taiwan as stratigic military placements for its armed services in the indo pacific region.

Japan introduced legislation to change the text books on history in its education system.  This is what is causing the prolblems in china as China claims that its is lies and that the Japanese never appoligised to the Chineses peoples for war crimes in WW2 (60 years ago for heavens sake).

The Chinese government is instrumental in the rioting being caused in china (how strange and unexpected) and i find it remarkable that China has the gaul to promote this kind of activity considering it's own human rights records.

Deep within this issue is the real one:  A land grab by a bully nation being apposed by another bully nation (america) using petty issues and dragging other countries with mutual pacts into the fray (australia).

sorry to ramble on but i just thought my little blurb might put a bit more insite into the real issues going down and the plight of the tiny nation of Tiawan as the big guys aim missiles across its island nation.
