because I already don't buy from Eastman Kodak, and switched to fujifilm some time ago. I like the results I get with landscapes with this film, so I would have a really hard time switching off again.

I like Fuji film, and their print paper. Their colours are more realistic, or subtle.
I have several old rangefinder cameras, Zorki 4, Zorki 6, Konica C35, etc, where you line up a double image, and check the aperture on a 'sunny 16' basis. I photograph trees, ducks in water distant views, and try and make them look interesting. Fuji makes them lovable, and real I think.
I use a Canon digital as well, but that's mostly just for snaps. The screen is a bit too small to do more than outline the outside edges of the pictures.
Now if you had said Kodak, I would have agreed with you because they seem to think that brightly coloured piccies of young people and little children with their mouths open and their brains completely closed down are a really neat idea.
Their colours are only exciting, not all that accurate or attractive.
well, Fuji have also a deep involvement in the preservation of the Giant pandas- looks like good enough reason for me to buy their stuff
