Cloth diapering... October 13, 2007 9:33 PM

When I was pregnant I knew that's what I wanted. It was in my registery, cloth diapers!! What did I get? pins, that's it, oh and disposables. I was really upset no one got any cloth diapers and basically told me I would change my mind about it. Did I? NO!!! So any time we got some extra money we bought a few diapers and covers. It was really hard at first(I did the prefolds with covers) and thought to myself, what have I done? In the end I loved it and even miss it now.

My son is potty trained now except for night time. I have some old wool covers I bought second hand and they don't fit now or have holes I have had to fix. So now my quest is to knit and felt some. Has anyone else done that? What type of wool yarn did/do you use so it's extra soft? I have knitted other things and felted them so I understand what type of wool to use so it can be felted. Also, I am going to use some old wool clothes to sew some covers.

Please, any suggestions, experience is welcomed
