Here is a place to post any/all links for women's and women's issues.  For anyone who posts a link, I will award a GREEN STAR!  I will also pin this topic.

I started this website over a year ago when I was having trouble with other organizations reprimanding me for lame issues like my signature being too long, or defending myself when someone says my designs suck.

There was no formal way of disclipline when it came to the monitors. It was either an owner of the site, or one person monitoring a group, forum, etc. that decided they didn't like me, so they booted me. From there, there was no way of requesting a review, or anything.

So, I started the Professional Women's Outreach Organization. Having owning my own business, as well as working full time, and focusing on a career path, I wanted a place for all women to feel they can get the help they need, the peer to peer support they deserve, and the networking they can benefit from that other sites don't offer.

There are several forums, one private discussion list, several directories, a private messenger, and much, much more.

Hi there!

I work out of home publishing comics through DragonHead Studio and have a site set up to promote "aBraxIa" which is my primary anthology.  It's black & white, a bit irregular and I'm trying to get more women involved in it.  The last issue was 50% women, which really thrilled me because the comics market tends to be male dominated.

If anyone's interested, the book accepts submissions of poetry, fiction, artwork (both comic and non-sequential.) It's for mature readers and has a run of about 100-200 issues.
