Please sign to protect Maui's dolphin from seabed mining November 02, 2005 4:57 AM

Maui's dolphin is the smallest marine dolphin in the world, and the most endangered. It is endemic to NZ and only found along a relatively small area of coastal waters. There are thought to be only 80-120 left. Please take a moment to sign the petition below to protect these dolphins from the effects of seabed mining. Lorna. I'd never hear of the Hector/Maui Dolphin. Went to the WWF site that has quite a bit of information. Truly interesting, yet sad given they fear they will be extinct within 25 years. Needless to say, I signed the petition.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
