Send Your Thanks To The Troops Personally July 12, 2005 4:47 AM

Would you like to thank the troops for their service to your country? Click on the link below and thank them personally. Sometimes we get so busy in todays world that we honestly overlook those who are not here on American soil. We overlook the sacrifices they and their families make daily.

This is an excellent website and totally accessible to our troops for their viewing.

http://www.dod.mil/americasupportsyou/support/

Our troops read these thank you's from people just like you and I and have said that it bouys their spirits and makes what they are doing worthwhile.

thanks August 28, 2005 7:55 AM

This is such a great opportunity to thank so many of our children for giving up so much! I don't support the war but, I sure do support the many kids who are out there. My heart goes out to them and their families. As a parent it would be the hardest thing.  [ send green star]

Warren:

You can contact the USO by phone, at 703-908-6400 or via the net at http://www.uso.org/contacttheuso/

Just fill out the inquiry form, select "entertainment" and submit."

Their site says a representative will get back to you in a timely manner.

Also...you can browse their site at http://www.uso.org

Good luck -- how very kind and generous of you...

If you go to the web site at www.letssaythanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.  You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.  It only takes a second and wouldn't it be wonderful if they received a bunch of these  [report anonymous abuse]

Card sent to thank the troops.  Take a second to send a note of support.  I'm sure it puts a smile on the dial of a soldier somewhere, some place far away from home.  [ send green star]
