WHY NO TOPICS June 02, 2005 7:24 AM

Why is it that no one seems to care about this group. It was started to have a group of people who care on a global bases to have their own little network. Unless other people post topics that they are interested then membership will grow very slowly. The more posts, the more creative ideas we can all have to think about, even to take positive action on, SO PLEASE SHOW ME THAT YOU DO CARE!  [ send green star]
Why? June 08, 2005 9:51 AM

John, I appreciate your work on the forum of your group. However, being alone on the forum is something that I experience too (you’ll see a topic like this one on my group). And the reasons for this situation are many. First of all, your group is small. I am for more than a year on this network and I know that there are some “hyper posters”, and the rest of the members focus on two, maybe three groups. The hyper posters have their own groups, seven, eight or more, and they post only in them, not caring – as you said – about the rest of the groups. You know them from the groups of “feedback and suggestions” and of the “hosts and co-hosts”. Second, most of us can’t lose too much time on Care2, because we have the real life that is taking a lot of our time. Third, - now I speak for myself - I am from a country that doesn’t care about the environment. It’s not like the UK… So, not too much common subjects… My advice is to try to get more members and to try not to post so often. You lose your energy in vain. My opinion.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Yes i Know the group is small, and i do now let it go a day or two with out a post. But i find even when i post on other groups topics i would like answers too, its only now i am begaining to get a bite of feed back. thank you i do Know how busy most people are, but some times i see a lot of replys to topics that i sometimes wander why people post them with so much going on in this world that does cost people, animals there lives!  [ send green star]
