It's Not Too Late--Join UCS Earth Day Challenge March 21, 2006 11:18 AM

Join these hybrid owners today on UCS's Hybrid Center

We're Half-Way Home
Help us Meet the Challenge!

It's me, Bill Nye the Science Guy again. Here at the half-way point of our Earth Day Challenge, I just wanted to remind you that it's not too late to get in on the excitement happening over at the UCS Hybrid Center.

WWW.HYBRIDCENTER.ORG is a great resource for information about hybrid vehicles. We've already had hundreds of hybrid owners send their pictures and testimonials, and thousands of clean vehicle enthusiasts have joined our new Driving Change Network. But we need your help to reach our Earth Day goal and ensure this great new web tool is an agent for driving change.

Do you own a Hybrid vehicle? Know someone who does? If so, we need you. Our goal is to get 1000 hybrid owners to join me by Earth Day, April 22, on the HybridCenter's "Who's Got Hybrids?" feature—a collection of pictures and testimonials from hybrid owners around the nation. Click here to join in, and get a free "Cool Car—Cool Planet" static cling window sticker.

Or, spread the word today to everyone you know that has a hybrid, wants a hybrid, or would just like to help put better autos on the road. Click here to pass the Earth Day Challenge along.

The Hybrid Center isn't just for hybrid owners, anyone who cares about clean car solutions can join me in the fun by joining the HybridCenter Driving Change Network. Driving Change Network members will receive special HybridCenter updates, action alerts, and opportunities to make the world a better place and have some fun doing it! Click here to automatically sign up.

Don't forget, Earth Day is just one month away! Let's make this Earth Day a celebration of clean vehicle technologies, consumer power, and their potential, together, to help our planet.
