Favorite Vegan Blogs December 11, 2007 10:04 AM

Well, this wasn't easy, but I decided to keep my favorite vegan blogs list limited to a dozen. (For now!) Some of these I've gathered together from earlier posts on other threads, but most I've just been greedily keeping all to myself.

If you have some favorite vegan blogs - or better yet, your own vegan blog - well, you know the drill!

A lot of these blogs have links to yet more vegan blogs, web sites and other resources. So have fun ~ just don't forget to come back here from time to time!

Yeah, That Vegan Sh*t
as the name might imply, this irreverent and funny food, etc blog contains some "language." Prepare to laugh... and drool!

Vegan Dad
because seriously, how can you not adore a vegan dad who cooks?

Dr. Stonielove's Bewildered Beast

another fun vegan food blog

The Conscious Kitchen
Emilie's blog is a beauty, and her own words say it best, "I eat for peace, I cook for love, I think about food as a means to connect..."

The Post Punk Kitchen Blog
always a fun visit!

Don't Get Mad, Get Vegan!
more food, 'cause is there such a thing as too much vegan food? I'm just saying.

Vegan Heart Doc
the blog of Heather Shenkman, MD..."Cardiologist, Vegan, and Aspiring Triathlete." And, obviously, blogger. (If only she had a little ambition! Ha.)

Peaceful Prairie
Peaceful Prairie Sanctuary's blog has some of the most beautiful, poignant essays anywhere

Food For Thought
one of Compassionate Cooks' Colleen Patrick-Goudreau's three blogs, these essays are shorter versions of her podcasts

The Joyful Vegan: Stories of Transformation
another of Colleen's

Animal Rights: The Abolitionist Approach
Gary L. Francione's thought-provoking blog

Animal Person
Mary Martin, Ph.D.'s blog "deconstructs the language, ethics and economics of our relationship with nonhuman animals."

I've always gotten the best results with Susan's recipes and enjoyed hearing about her food adventures and family fun.

Susan's blog is very good - she's a clever cook and a dedicated one. I hope her blog wins the 2007 Best Blog Award (I just voted for her!) - she deserves it. It's nice to see vegans get recognition, eh?  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]

I have a LOT of favourites (although Susan's is my number 1 fave) but here's one that delights the eyes and makes the mouth water. I check in every now and then just to  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]
