By planting native trees and shrubs on the surrounding land, water quality will improve, creating a better habitat for the platypuses.
I did not even know about the Project Platypus, Thank You for sharing this site with us! All of the other sites have been a part of my daily clicking routine for years now. Let's all keep up the great work!!!
Just saw this at the Rainforest Site, and thought I would share it with you guys:
Embrace your inner tree hugger! Made exclusively for The Rainforest Site, our bright leafy-green silicone bracelet boldly proclaims your passion for protecting our natural world.
In addition to the usual royalty paid for this product, each bracelet set purchase also plants a tree to provide sanctuary to monarch butterflies and to clean our air.
Our web address will let others know how they can help preserve our rainforests with a simple click! Measures 8" L x 0.5" W (20 cm x 1 cm).
The Rainforest Site will preserve 1145 square feet of land for each set of 10 Tree Hugger Bracelets purchased.
I'd really like to buy one, but they come in sets of 10, and I really don't know what I would do with 10 bracelets! Don't think I know that many people who I could give them to in person LOL.
You're very welcome Marvel, and thank you as well for helping to spread the word!
By the way..... and
Excellent .....thank you for sharing these

I HOPE YOU HOLIDAYS ARE FULL OF LAUGHTER AND PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU!!!!

Osiyo, Thanks for the links for the clicks I have clicked all of them...dohiya
Thank you all so much for clicking for the trees!
This is a great group. I LOVE trees; I'm very drawn to them, especially very old ones (old growth), those in rainforests, etc. like in SE Alaska. British Columbia, Olympic Peninsula. The place I'm living now is surrounded by trees.
Whenever I see places that have been clearcut, it would just make me cry. I'd also almost start crying every time I'd see a log truck drive by loaded with either really big trees or more likely late, much thinner trees.
Thank you for creating this group.
"People in suburbia see trees differently than foresters do. They cherish every one. It is useless to speak of the probability that a certain tree will die when the tree is in someone's backyard .... You are talking about a personal asset, a friend, a monument, not about board feet of lumber."
- Roger Swain

Mandana, that sounds like an awesome holiday and thanks for the link. I love being outside among the trees, flowers, birds, etc. Especially during spring and/or fall weather! Oh, when I went to the site I'm not sure what I was supposed to do. It seems like it asked me to post a word but I didn't know how.
Hi Tracy! I hope your stress is gone.

Hi Tracy,Vicky,Ildi and friends
Dear Vicky ,You can choose a branch on the tree,Then go for the top of the branches then you can say hello or ..
Take care of yourself ,Enjoy life and be happy !
Oh don't forget clicking !!
Oh I love Ecotonoha! Think I still have that on my profile page!
Vicky, click "skip replay", then click on one of the branches, pick a red dot, then you can leave a little message.
i try to do it when ever i can
Thanks for the great tip Tracy! I didn't do it very often before because I didn't know you could skip waiting for all the messages to load. I will do it more often now that it won't take forever waiting for the messages to load.
Does anyone know what happened to Ecotonoha? I used to click on it at http://www.cleanbreath.org/ but a couple of days ago my computer said it wasn't a safe site and now the click has been removed. Did it end or does anyone have any more information on this click? Thanks for any help.
I tried to go there myself and my computer told me that "there is a problem with this site's security certificate" and told me not to proceed.....so I didn't....not sure what is going on with that site...what a shame, I really loved that site.
Here's a site that says we can plant a tree free. I am not sure how to do it....I didn't see where to click. Let me know if you find it.
