These are sites where all you have to do is go there and click, and a donation will be made. It costs nothing to you, and it only takes a few seconds! Please click as often as you can!
Care2 Click to Donate: http://www.care2.com/click2donate/ Click to save the rainforests, and please while you are there, click on the other sites too as they are very worthy causes!
The Rainforest Site: http://www.therainforestsite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSites (while you are on this site, scroll down and there are several other worthy click-to-donate sites such as breast cancer, literacy, child health, animal rescue, and hunger)
Red Jellyfish: http://www.redjellyfish.com/ This site has a click-to-donate down in the right-hand corner (you have to register to red jellyfish first)--click for rainforest and for chimps while you are there!
This site is for saving the trees, it is non-english, but worth the click! : http://www.diewaldseite.de Thanks, and don't forget to click whenever you get the chance!!!!
Again my thanks to you Tracy. I clicked all the sites. Some I had already been clicking but it's nice to have them nice and neat and in a list in one place. Thanks again. Peace, Deborah

Thanks for the great topic - it is amazing how these clicks add up. I have developed a web page with all of these links - and a couple more - as part of my Bird Conservation site. You can save a bookmark to your computers desk top as a reminder to click every day!
Deborah & Susan--thanks for clicking!! I tried to keep them all organized to make it easier. Chris----thank you for that link--I think I may have gotten most of the links above from that site of yours!

Treehugger tank tops and Ts on the rainforest site June 27, 2005 9:04 PM
Hi all! I just noticed that there is a sponsor on the rainforest site (the second one on the clicks list above) that sells tank tops, T-shirts, and other things with a "Treehuggers" logo. Looks pretty cool! Just thought I'd mention it, in case some people haven't gone there to click yet. Hint, hint... --Bear

Here's another click to donate site to add to the mix:
Please visit http://www.amp.com.au and click on the Platypus to support Landcare's Project Platypus. For every click that you make, AMP Foundation will donate $1 to this project(up to $10,000). Landcare's Project Platypus is a habitat restoration project aimed at improving the environment in which platypuses live. By planting native trees and shrubs on the surrounding land, water quality will improve, creating a better habitat for the platypuses.
Hi Tracy, I did not even know about the Project Platypus, Thank You for sharing this site with us! All of the other sites have been a part of my daily clicking routine for years now. Let's all keep up the great work!!!

Embrace your inner tree hugger! Made exclusively for The Rainforest Site, our bright leafy-green silicone bracelet boldly proclaims your passion for protecting our natural world.
In addition to the usual royalty paid for this product, each bracelet set purchase also plants a tree to provide sanctuary to monarch butterflies and to clean our air.
Our web address will let others know how they can help preserve our rainforests with a simple click! Measures 8" L x 0.5" W (20 cm x 1 cm).
The Rainforest Site will preserve 1145 square feet of land for each set of 10 Tree Hugger Bracelets purchased.
I'd really like to buy one, but they come in sets of 10, and I really don't know what I would do with 10 bracelets! Don't think I know that many people who I could give them to in person LOL.
I just found this thread and will have to add a directory to my website to get the word out. Knew about many but not all! YAY for Treehuggers

This is a great group. I LOVE trees; I'm very drawn to them, especially very old ones (old growth), those in rainforests, etc. like in SE Alaska. British Columbia, Olympic Peninsula. The place I'm living now is surrounded by trees.
Whenever I see places that have been clearcut, it would just make me cry. I'd also almost start crying every time I'd see a log truck drive by loaded with either really big trees or more likely late, much thinner trees.
You are very welcome Janice, and I am happy that you are apart of it! I too love trees, but especially old trees too. They just look so majestic....and you know that they have seen alot during their lifetime.

I also get sad when I see areas clearcut, or if I see any logging truck or mill in operation. Just seeing any tree cut down in general, is a dismal sight, and in most cases, is totally unnecessary. People just want to get rid of trees for the stupidest reasons, like, "I don't want to be bothered raking leaves".

"People in suburbia see trees differently than foresters do. They cherish every one. It is useless to speak of the probability that a certain tree will die when the tree is in someone's backyard .... You are talking about a personal asset, a friend, a monument, not about board feet of lumber." - Roger Swain
Tracy, it is great to see how committed you are to help the forests of our world! And if all I have to do to help a little bit is to make a quick click then there is no reason to why I shouldn't!

Thank you everybody for clicking! Don't forget, if you are very short on time, you can always click this link to check out how to do them in one easy click! (But please remember, that these organizations depend on their sponsors, try to check them out when you can)
Thankyou for having all these sites in one place.. I have a great love of Nature and am most impressed with all the new tress on the properties when visiting my mother. Trees, trees everywhere I look.... it makes my day. I hug and nuture my trees, speak to them and they respond by being bountiful and looking so healthy. Many thanks for the new click sites.. blessings Mary
