Now - the present time June 08, 2005 11:43 AM

What is your definition of now!  To me, now is this moment, not the moment before or the moment after, but this very moment.  If we could all learn to make the best of this present moment we are living in, then the past moment does not matter and the next moment will take care of itself.  Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.  Under any circumstance, simply do your best in this moment, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.     [ send green star]

I have heard something about "now" and "the present" and "Santa Clause", but I don't believe they exist.

If I tell you something; then when the sound vibrations is reaching your ear it is already history. What I see of the stars in the sky is history. What you call present is where the past and future is meeting. But exact present does not exist. You may think that I am a quarulant or an intellectual extravagant, but I am not. Because I have a deeper reason why I am telling you this things.

I want to tell you that if we want to be so conscious that we can free yourself from the past and futures worries, then the only way is to take away our umbrella of ego and the bliss will rain down on us. This Bliss is a pure consciousness that sees everything as expression of love. We have to go from many to one, from analytic to synthesis. The day and night is so extreme beautiful. But because of our ego we can't see it. One day you may realize that the chair you are sitting on and the walls around you only want to take care of you. And the air you are breathing in is full of divine energy. I know you will find it all.
The capitalistic system is soon going to collapse. When all the toys is no more, then the nature will help us to surrender our ego, then we can be able to catch the vibration you are longing for, that will free you from past and the future.

There are three grades of human. The one that only is looking on the past is the lowest category. He will not develop, because the past is so full of mistakes and greed. A better person is the one that only thinks of the future. In the future lays improvements. By thinking our self in the future it can help our speed. The best category is the one that is only thinking about His divine Father. He will develop consciousness and see how beautiful everything is. This is the only way to be conscious in every moment.

There is no other ways to choose to be "Now" and "here" for a long time. You past action will always catch you. You have to have a spiritual ideation in all your actions. It is not easy but by your mediation service and sacrifice, step by step you will be able to see the bright side of everything and everyone.

Hi there!

Thanks for participating in this topic.  I enjoyed reading your ideas and find them very, very good.  However, I still think that living in this moment, the present, is the best way to live happily and fruitfully.  The past is gone forever, the future is yet to be, and the only time we are assured of is the now, the present time.

Of course, this subject can become much more deep and complicated than I have indicated above.  There are so many aspects and ideas about this topic that can be explored and I would like to hear all of them.  We all have our own thoughts and feelings about life, and I believe it is helpful to listen and learn from each other.

Again, thanks so much for your interesting post.  I learned much from you.

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life.  Be happy now.  Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future.  Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family.  Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.
