Definition of (NDE) NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE May 31, 2005 3:11 PM

Experience in which the world is apparently perceived from somewhere outside the body. A person having such an experience may perceive his or her real physical body below, often from the perspective of a nonphysical body which in some cases appears attached to the physical body by a cord. The experience has most often been reported by those who have temporarily 'died' but have then been resuscitated after a period of unconsciousness. A near-death experience (NDE) is the perception reported by a person who nearly died or who was clinically dead and revived. They are somewhat common, especially since the development of cardiac resuscitation techniques, and are reported in approximately one-fifth of persons who revive from clinical death. The experience often includes an out-of-body experience.  [ send green star]
I was clinically dead February 05, 2006 2:57 AM

I was clinically dead in '99, but observed my body in the early 80's when I had a bout of pneumonia. The latter wasn't documented like the one in '99.

NDE February 05, 2006 7:13 PM

That is Sooooooo Cool. I would encourage all who have had NDE to blog about it & send copies to the local media. I think the more we all speak up about it- the more (serious) research shall become on this subject... My clinical DE blog is listed at;  [ send green star]
