Best Places for Coffee???
| Hot!

Today Trev and I went out for coffee at our favourite hangout, Gloria Jeans.  Not for any particular reason except it was a good day for it as the temperature went down to a cool (for spring in  Australia) 18 degrees celcious.  We love the coffee there and there is always an up to date paper to read up on the stocks and share market and other things of interest.  We do this QUITE often but thought I'd tell COFFEEHOLICS about it today.  How do you rate Glora Jeans?  Any other favs of yours?  Please share about it through this thread.  Better be off and all those who celebrate thanksgiving have a GREAT one.

Bye for now...Diane

I go to a local coffeehouse called Le Patisserie in Downtown Mooresville. They serve the best cafe mocha-not to rich, and very smooth, and their service is excellent. And yes, I have to confess, I do go to a chain, Caribou Coffee, also in Mooresville off Highway 150. Their coffees is just what my discriminating tastebuds need, and the service is also awesome!

Here I enjoy little places with tables on the street and nice vibes, Polanco has some (Mexico City). When you visit don´t forget to sit down and enjoy coffee in one of these places.

Just about anyplace you have coffee is a good place

My favorite places are:

A little cafe we have in NC called quotations.  Cozy, warm and inviting!  You have the delicious smell of coffee in the air, the best tasting frozen coffees and inspiring/humorous quotes to read.  A perfect little spot!

I do love Starbucks!  We finally have one in the Ingles store here, but one of my favorite places is the Starbucks in Barnes & Nobles in Asheville.  I just discovered it on Monday and fell in love with it.  The person who thought of putting a coffee shop and bookstore together was a genius!

And last but not least, on my couch at home curled up by the fire on a cold winter morning.  Perfection!

I'm having some coffee right now, in bed. Eight o'clock brand, Columbian roast with soy milk, and a dash of Chinese five spice. Ohhh, it's so good! I could drink coffee all day, anywhere!

Yumm! Starbuck's has one called cinnamon dolce that I just adore! But I'll only get it with soy milk. Maybe a little whipped cream if I'm in the mood for it.

I agree with Bart, home is one of the best places to have a coffee and more when I am talking with my care2 friends here.

Yes, home is good too !

Trev just served me my home made iced coffee while here on Care2.  I've trained him well to make it for me.  A dieters one today (when I have it at home)...no cream or icecream, just iceblocks and soymilk as usual.  Long as it's cold on these hot days.  It's even very hot early in the morning here in Surfers Paradise, Australia, at this time of the year.....so you GOTTA have it cold.  Were going to starbucks this morning but it rained..oh well ! Tell you about that some other time when we go.  I do sometimes treat myself to the real deal in a cafe though.  There are soooo many cafes here in Surfers.  Special HI ! to Maggie...hope all is going well with your writing.  Bye for now to you, Tersa and all who are are part of this group. Take care too...DI ***
