Women in Iraq November 23, 2004 3:29 PM

I suppose many of you out there would love to think the Iraqi people enjoying freedom and democracy - of course we don't want to see that fail, we're just convinced that the present administration have no clue about how to achieve such a fine goal. I tell you there are Iraqi's who struggle for their future, who neither support the terrorists nor the occupation - squeezed between two violent forces they struggle to build a future with peace and prosperity. Please join me in supporting them wholeheartedly in succeeding - thus defeating both hawkish forces. Check out The Organisation for Women's Freedom in Iraq, they are real heroes !!!! Their director Yanar Mohammed left a good life as architecht in Toronto, Canada - to live among her people and build a new future. She initiated a women's shelter in Bagdad providing a hiding place for girls threatened by "honor killings" -  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
