This is a little later than the rest of the posts here, but here goes, my name is Lorraine, I have been diabetic since I was 14, am much older now, I think of myself as "seasoned", I have had 3 problems with my heart, as well as 4 mini strokes. I have damage to my kidney, liver, and bladder. I suffer from depression, PTSD from being abused for most of my life. I have been on care2 for over a year now, it has been a godsend. It has brought back my mental abilities, as well as my small motor skills with the keying. I also have neropothey from the diabetes, I can't walk without a cane. I have a scooter for getting around to the nearby shops as well for any dr. appoint., or shopping in general. If you want to know more then you will have to check out my screwey page.

Hi Everyone. I am Luna aka Cheryl, I am mentally disabled and my health problems are becoming my second disability.
My mental problems were caused by my Mother abusing me and a Rape that occured in 1980. I saw Doctor's and counselor's from 1980 til 1995 off and on. 2000 my husband at that time was in jail due to drunk driving but he also abused me as well when he got drunk.
The reason I am here is due to Alaska Medicaid won't pay for Denture's, on my Blog Share I did write about my frustration trying to get denture's, I got 13 denials, I wanted to bang my head against the wall instead I cried.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful and great Memorial Day Weekend. Was a nice one here. I hope during this time of season we remember all those who have lost their lives while fighting to keep our freedom for our country. And may we keep praying for our current troops so that those in Iraq and other places around the world will return home safely.
well, it's been so long, i prolly need 2 re~introduce myself <lol>...i've been on somewhat of a leave of absense, caring for my mentally disabled son who has been having some problems lately.

Posting this quick, but will be by again later.......
So happy to see everyone.... hugs
I'm bursting here..... my daughter had to have a C-section but everyone is fine. Bryan Joseph Jr. arrived at 4:22 central time 2/16/2006 and was 8 lbs 3 ozs, 21 inches long. She was out of it and had so many people coming in that she wasn't in that great of a mood when she called last night. She called this morning, baby is fine, brown hair and feeding well, she's still not up to par (( well, after a C-section, I would think not )) Bryan SR cried when Bryan JR was born and he's just full of pride, of course, all the times he called me yesterday, he didn't tell me all the details, but that's a man for you and of course he called me just as I was leaving work to tell me she was going to have a C-section but I got home OK. As soon as I get a picture, will let you all see "my new baby".
It is so nice to see you posting here again, Richard. Have missed you greatly. I am sure you will get those words in order soon, and of course they will be written out in the means of another one of your lovely poems.
You cannot currently send a star to Joanne because you have done so within the last week.
